Chapter 1.

'I DARE you to go into that new neighbours house and act like you own the place' Kat says, laughing. Everyone cheers me on as I, of course, accept the challenge. 'Any day.' I say confidently, smirking at her as I turn to the house. It looks very normal. By that, I mean totally boring. Probably some 40 year old single woman who owns two cats and cooks spinach casserole everyday lives in there. I have a great imagination eh. I try the front door, locked. Well, I wouldn't expect any different. I walk over to the side of the house, and jump over the fence that's blocking my entrance to their backyard. I scan the yard before going in - no one. Hm. I walk over to the back door. Unlocked. As usual. I hear the shower running as I grab a coke from their fridge and plop on their couch. Comfy. I hear the shower turn off. *Please don't waltz out of the washroom naked* I thought to myself. The door opens. I smile as I say, without turning around "Finally done taking that shower?" I begin. "Last time I checked, my door was locked. Unless you went around the back? You have no right to -" my great (and totally prepared) speech was cut short when whoever was behind me shot what looked like a blue ray of light into their own TV. I turn around quickly, and suddenly, I was unable to move. Why couldn't I move? At this point, I would run out of the house, laughing. But, this, guy, I, was so, captivated by him. He was soaking wet, only a towel around his waist, his wet, long black hair covering his strong shoulders, which led down to his chest, revealing his diverse tattoos, ones I've never seen before. I realized I've been staring at him for much too long, and then I met his gaze. He had such intense green eyes. And then my gaze flew to the big golden thing in his hand. It was huge, taller than him, and he was tall. At the top was a weird silver contraption that held a blue object that was beaming with light. My eyes widened as I realized that's what he used to shoot the TV, and I bolted out of the house.

WHAT is he?
