Sorry I haven't been able to update anything s of late. Writer's block is a pain in the ass. So for now, I'm going to be releasing a bunch of one-shots and drabbles to clear my head.

"H-hanayo, d-don't...don't cry. Come, on.."
"M-maki-chan..."
Maki pulled Hanayo's head down gently and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. Maki brushed away strands of hair from Hanayo's face, softly singing 'Kodoku na Heaven' as Hanayo listened beside her hospital bed. Maki tried to pull herself up to sitting position, still singing. She grinned weakly, reaching out to caress Hanayo's face with her free hand.
"Hanayo..."
Hanayo felt Maki's movements grow slower each passing second, until her hand completely dropped back down to the bed, Maki's eyes fluttering open and closed.
"Stay awake...Maki-chan. Please...stay awake." Hanayo began to sob. "P-please...M-m-maki-chan, do...don't leave me.."
Maki smiled mournfully, placing one last kiss on Hanayo's lips. She pulled away, the smile still on her face.
"I'll...still be... with you.. okay..? Do..n't give.. up..music. I...love..you...Ha..na...yo"
The only thing Hanayo could see was the straight line on the heart monitor beside Maki's bed, as doctors and nurses ran into the hospital, trying to revive Maki somehow.
Hanayo knew it was all useless, though.
Maki was gone. And she was gone forever.
