1. Chapter 1

Author's Note: This will be my challenge book for the forum The Clan of Clouds. This first challenge, a drabble, will basically be setting up for the other stories I might write. As a note, this is technically set in the same universe as my two collections of drabbles, A Single Moment and Song of the Earth, but that is a bit of an irrelevant note at the moment. I hope you enjoy this and hopefully there will be more to come.

Drabble for The Clan of Clouds

How long has it been since I first looked upon that realm, the untouched wilderness beyond the sight of the stars? Seasons ago, when the earth was young and life lived on in all its beauty, perhaps my will alone could not defile such purity. The shining path of eternity lies before me, the ocean of time made clear to my eyes. I see bloodshed and betrayal, fear and darkness. My children will reap the seeds I sowed, and never again shall these lands be pure, unsullied. But the time for regrets has passed. A prophet can never look back.
