A/N: If you're not up to date in the manga don't read this. :)
...Based off chapter 83.
It wouldn't happen again. She wouldn't let it.
She told herself over and over again. It fuelled her devotion to train, to get stronger so nothing like that would happen again.
She cut herself up about it. He was in hospital and it was all her fault. He should have found a new partner, one who could handle a scythe better than she could. One who could use him to his full potential.
But he wouldn't let her. He had stayed as her weapon albeit what had happened.
So she made a promise to herself after that.
She would get stronger, and she would make him a Death Scythe so that they wouldn't have to worry about petty things such as whether or not they were strong enough to handle certain situations. At least that's what she thought would happen if she turned him into Shinigami's weapon. She was so wrong.
He would not get hurt because of her ever again. If only it was as easy as she thought it would be.

Her head hurt where he pulled on her hair, but she took no notice. She was more focused on what was happening beside her.
He was screaming, clutching his chest for dear life. His agony cutting through her like knives. Although nowhere near the pain he was going through.
She promised him.
That she would never let him get hurt again.
So what would be the consequences for her mistake this time?
A/N: Too short to go into Soul Amity.
