Author's note: HI! Yeah like most authors I'm starting a series of non-related one-shots, but for mine romance won't be the centres of each chapter. And this isn't my NejiTen fic which is due to go up some time soon, but it is my one shot collection. I think I just repeated myself...anyways this is just going to be there for me to do when I'm stuck on other stories I suppose. I hope you enjoy it! I used to think that you were just an annoying sensei who thought he knew everything there was to know. Maybe I should feel ashamed that I felt this way, but in a way I don't think I should.
There are so many reasons that I should thank you for, you've done so much for me; you were the first person to ever truly cherish me as a human being, you gave me my forehead protector, you've always bought me ramen whenever I wanted some – especially after returning from a mission.
You've always believed in me, even when others would laugh when I said that I would become Hokage one day (despite the fact that you used to tell me off because of my annoying behaviour), you've never given up on me.
Before meeting you...I felt alone, always being pushed away.
Feeling like I was unwanted...but I guess that I was huh.
Every bowl of ramen (that you pay for) I eat is a gesture that shows how much you mean to me.
And if anyone ever tries to hurt you I'll beat them up for you!
Words could never express how much you mean to me so I'll show you how grateful I am by becoming Hokage!
And that's a promise, and I never back down from my word – SEE! I WILL BECOME HOKAGE BECAUSE I PROMISED!
But in the end I know you'll always believe in me...I won't disappoint you.
