Of Bells and Bruises
Disclaimer – I do not own Avatar…because if I did, Zutara and Taang would be canon and Jin would be rotting in my laundry room.
"I'm so sorry!" Katara cried, trying to help up her friend. "I didn't know it was you! I'm so so sorry!"
Zuko winced and rubbed the bruise on his head, offering her a weak smile. "Eh…it's okay. I shouldn't have been walking around without my bell." She smiled at his weak attempt at a joke.
"It's just that I was bathing and…and oh my…oh great Agni…"
"Eh?" Zuko blinked at her curiously.
"You…you saw me…naked."
Zuko and Katara did an amazing feat – they invented 50 new shades of red. Amazing.
"…I'm sorry."
"…"
"…Very sorry."
"STOP SAYING THAT!!"
They both winced. "Sorry…it's just that, you kept apologizing and – hey! Since when does the almighty Prince Zuko apologize to a weak water peasant?"
"Oh, you just had to play the Prince card, didn't you?" Zuko growled, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Well, you're the one that was peeping!"
"What? I was the one that got an elbow knocked into their head!"
"That's because you were peeping at me!"
"WHAT?!" The two teens turned to the new voice and sighed in annoyance. Sokka glared at the Fire Prince. "You were peeping on my baby sister?!"
"Sokka…" Katara growled.
Sokka ignored it and started chasing Zuko around with his boomerang, also trying to dodge the flames Zuko shot out at him.
"HEY! STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU!" Katara yelled, chasing after them and whipping Sokka with water. "STOP THROWING YOUR BOOMERANG AT ZUKO!"
"WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING HIM?"
"BECAUSE YOU'RE AN IDIOT!"
"SHUT UP, FIRE NATION SCUM!"
"DON'T CALL HIM THAT!"
Aang sweatdropped, Toph sighed and Momo chirped from her shoulder. Appa groaned and turned over in his sleep.
"Snoozles interrupted their flirting again…" Toph muttered. Aang sighed, sending a gust of air out. This caused Sokka to get blown into the hot springs – ironically, this was where this started – making Katara accidentally waterwhip the unsuspecting Zuko. The whip caused Zuko to fall and, since she was still running, she fell onto him.
Unfortunately, Zuko rolled onto his back and, well…let's just say that our favorite benders fell into a very suggestive position. xD
A/N: Okay, the main reason behind this was for my 5k over at dA. Plus I wanted to write some Zutara…that didn't suck. (referring to her other story) xD
