Two months after it happened, they announced the news by email. In the lab, shock, knowing looks and happy expressions accompanied it. Nick's expression, while mirroring the others, also held a touch of confusion, not that Grissom had gone after Sara, but that he'd also managed to convince Sara to marry him. Grinning, Nick knew he had a golden opportunity to tease Sara. He fired off a quick email.
Congratulations, but Sara, what happened to your stance on marriage and property exchange?
Another email was sent in reply.
Still stands, Nick. Grissom was the lab's property and now he's mine.
