"So what happened to her?" Jack Sparrow's drunk first mate asked him, slamming down his glass briefly after asking his question.
"Eh?" Jack asked, guzzling down the last of his rum and holding it out, waiting for it to be refilled. He gave a gold toothed grin at the wench who filled it to the top, then turned back to his first mate.
"The woman from Singapore." Gibbs stated, as though that was obvious to know. "The one you had feelin-"
"Stirrings." Jack said sharply, and took a drink of his rum. "I marooned her and was on my merry way." he told the drunk man, nodding his head. "And, it meant nothing, nothing at all." he said lightly, Gibbs grinned. He knew.
"Right," he said, smirking, nodding his head in a manner stating Jack's words meant nothing. "Jack." he spoke coldly. "Miss Angelica was different to you, was she not?" he asked, knowing the answer, and knowing as well what Jack would say.
"No." Jack stiffened, knowing where this conversation was going. "Mr. Gibbs, I need not associate myself with the likes of Blackbeard, nor his offspring." he said, nodding lightly as he sneered.
"You loved her long before you knew she had anything to do with Blackbeard." Gibbs said, rolling his eyes.
"Enough," Jack said, taking another large drink. He sighed and slammed the empty glass down. "She means nothing," he told Gibbs, lying through his teeth. "I don't need women." he said, and spotted Scartlett from his position at his table. "However, I need the need." he said, getting up. "Don't wait for me, mate," he stalked toward the red head.
Joshamee Gibbs shook his head lightly, and sighed, holding out his own glass to be refilled, then chugged it down in a single chug, then slammed it down so quick he heard a crack form in it. "I would miss the need," he muttered, shrugging and nodding his head like always whenever he coped with something. He felt pitty for Angelica thinking she was sitting in the sand while Jack was walking out of the bar in Tortuga with another woman. "Another drink," he said, and waited for his glass to be filled.
