Author's Note: After watching 'The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea' by Walt Disney and playing all the way through 'Golden Sun: The Lost Age', I decided to create this crossover story that I made up. Just to let you know, the timeline in this crossover takes place like the movie but before Felix and his team enter Shaman Village to acquire the Hover Jade from Moapa.

After trying to locate the sea witch, King Triton surfaced again to tell Ariel the bad news.

"I'm sorry. There's no sign of her. She's vanished." Triton said, looking at his daughter and son-in-law. "We'll keep searching."

"Sweetie, no." Ariel said, pulling Melody out of the water. "We have got to keep Melody away from her. Until Morgana is found, Melody can't go in the sea... and neither will I."

"But, Ariel..." Flounder began.

"I'm sorry, Flounder. But if Morgana is anything like Ursula, she'll never give up. Its the only way." Ariel said as Triton looked away sadly.

"Melody can't know about merpeople or Atlantica... or even you, daddy." She added as she removed Melody's locket and gave it back to Triton.

"Very well, Ariel. Take care now." Triton said, taking the locket from his daughter. "Sebastian, you will watch over her." He added to the red crab next to him.

"Me?" Sebastian repeated before passing out in the water. Triton then released the seashell locket into the ocean as Melody watched in amazement behind Ariel's shoulder after Flounder, King Triton and Sebastian returned to Atlantica and Melody, Ariel, and Eric headed up the staircase leading to the castle.

A few days later…

With her 12th birthday party completely prepared, Melody let out a heavy sigh as she watched the seagulls fly over the wall banning her from the sea. She wanted to go swimming, but her mother banned her from going outside the wall that surrounded the entire castle.

"I have to get myself ready." She said to herself, seeing a ship sailing towards the palace.

Felix inhaled deeply and could smell the salty sea breeze as he, Jenna, Sheba, and Piers sailed across the sea towards Shaman Village after the four adepts had conquered the Gabomba Statue in order to retrieve Piers's black crystal and the Sea of Time after learning the fate of the entire world when Felix eventually noticed a large white wall with a castle trapped inside it.

"Let's stop here, Piers." Felix said to the Mercury adept, pointing to the wall. Piers nodded, and sailed the Lemurian ship towards the shorelines near the wall.

Upon stopping and disembarking, Felix examined the white wall. 'There has got to be a way for us to get over this wall.' He thought, seeing some vines growing on a plateau. Using his Growth Psynergy, Felix climbed up the wall and jumped down, only to find himself getting tackled by a grey sheepdog as the others jumped down. Piers looked up and saw a black haired girl, looking bored and depressed as Felix climbed the staircase.

"Piers, you coming?" Felix called, looking at the Mercury adept as soon as he reached the top of the staircase.

"Yeah." Piers said, jogging up the flight of stairs to meet the brown haired Venus adept.

Inside, maids were bustling around, hanging up decorations all over the palace. Felix and his party then saw a red-haired woman in a purple dress, and walked towards her. After Kraden told her of their quest to ignite the two lighthouses, Ariel smiled and led the four adepts and the scholar to the bedrooms located at the far side of the castle as she told them not to allow her daughter in the sea due to a sea witch named Morgana, sister of the deceased Ursula.

As he walked into the room, Felix slowly began to remove his armor, peeling off his gauntlets and tossing them in the corner. He then saw a white uniform and had blue cuffs on the sleeves draped over a chair. Taking his green tunic off, Felix began putting on the uniform for the party when he suddenly heard a knock on the door.

"Are you ready, Felix?" Piers asked, opening the door. The Mercury adept was wearing a uniform similar to Felix's, except it was a navy blue color. Piers smiled as he and the Venus adept clasped arms.

"Yes, Piers." Felix said, showing a small smile as they headed down to the ballroom.

When they arrived, Felix and Piers stood next to Ariel and a black haired man named Eric, as they waited for the 12 year old girl. Felix watched as the duke, Grimsby, announce Melody's arrival as Piers saw the black haired girl walk down the stairs, wearing a beautiful pink dress that clashed with her hair.

After the party ultimately got ruined by Chef Louie chasing a crab known as Sebastian all over the ballroom and watching Melody get humiliated in front of other kids her age after her birthday cake got demolished, Piers knocked on her bedroom door quietly. "Melody? Are you alright?" No answer. Slowly, he opened the door and crept in the room, placing a hand on her back as she wept. "Are you okay, Melody?"

"No, I'm not okay. My party just got ruined! You saw what happened in there!" Melody said sadly, her head settling within her bed as she wept. Piers shook his head, feeling the pain of losing his mother after he was tossed out of Lemuria by a tidal wave that was caused by Poseidon and ended up at Indra. Ariel walked into the room shortly after Piers left, to comfort her daughter until the Lemurian overheard them arguing.

"You haven't even been in it!" Melody said, grabbing the locket (that has her name engraved on it) from her mother's hand and storming through the door that Eric opened, crying. Piers shook his head sadly. 'I got a bad feeling about this…' he thought, heading to his bed.

"We can't keep the truth away from her." Ariel said, looking at Eric.

That night, Jenna overheard Sebastian telling Ariel and Eric that their daughter had ran off.

"To where?" Ariel asked, looking at the crab.

"Out…to de sea." Sebastian said, looking at them with tears in his eyes.

"How could this happen? Where could she be going?" Ariel asked, looking at Eric.

"We'll find her for you, Your Majesty." Jenna said as she went up the stairs and ran towards Felix's room, seeing her older brother sleeping in a chair. Giggling, she walked over, and shoved the slumbering adept off his chair. Felix awoke with a bump, glancing around wildly and fending off his unseen assailant.

"Rise and shine, big brother." Jenna taunted, helping him to his feet.

"What was that for?" Felix moaned, rubbing his eyes drowsily.

"It's about Melody. She ran away from home!" Jenna said.

"What?! In the sea when she's not supposed to?!" Felix asked, looking at his sister with bewildered eyes. "Tell Sheba and Piers to get dressed. We're going after her!"

The red haired Mars adept nodded as she ran off to do so. Felix made sure that the Cloud Brand that they acquired after defeating the Serpent of Gaia Rock was still sharp as he pulled his tunic back on. He needed to thank Susa for the sword if they had the chance.

"Damn, I never thought she'd run away like that." Felix said to himself, putting his boots on as Jenna, Sheba, and Piers burst into his room.

"I knew something like this would happen!" Piers said after strapping his sword on. Sheba rolled her eyes as she polished her staff.

"I know, Piers." Felix said, nodding as they headed to the dining area and almost knocking Carlotta over
