heh. My first WoW story. Btw, i play a druid, so if i get the mage stuff wrong, plz tell me. Enjoy!
He had blinked. He had shielded himself to the cost of mana. But there were more, always more, who saw him, and chased him. No hearthstone, no hiding. He started to envy the tales he heard of Night Elves, of how they could fade away in the heat of battle. But he was a Blood Elf, and he could only hope of doing so while being pounded on by skeletons, ghouls and other undead.
His strength was going; his vision began to fade…
Suddenly, he felt a little better. In fact, he felt better with every passing minute. Perhaps this was what those orcs on the front line had described as battle rage, which had saved countless orcs and given them strength to continue in combat. But that wasn't going to help a mage who had run out of mana. He supposed he could only continue to run.
Then slowly, he could feel the magic again. He was miraculously gaining mana, without use of any potion or magical item.
He gradually realized that nothing was chasing after him. He heard a roar of an angry animal, and heard the sound of spells being cast…
When Sylorel awoke, he found himself on a bed of leaves, which was very unusual. After all, he was in Desolace, right?
'Hm? Awake, are you? Good. I really wasn't sure what to do with you. I guess you can help with that decision, right?' asked a Night Elf.
'You helped me…'
'Yes. Just couldn't leave you alone, not while you were being ripped apart by the Scourge. You look terrible, would you like some food? All your stuff got kinda ripped apart by zombies, pity, was a very nice bag,'
The Blood Elf stared at her. Although she had probably risked her life to save him, he was wary. After all, she was Alliance. 'Please, what is your name? And I do not require your food, I can conjure my own.'
'Huh? Name? Oh, mine is Allylea. Nice to meet you too.'
'My name is Sylorel.' The Blood Elf had successfully created some cakes and drinks from magic. After a while, he offered them to his saviour.
'Uh, no thanks. Never trusted magic; I am a druid, you know.' The Night Elf eyed the food as though it might explode.
Sylorel decided to play it safe and not overstay his welcome. 'Oh. Thank you for your kindness. I must leave now.'
As the mage began to leave, trying to figure out how to complete his quest, he heard a shout behind him.
'Wait! Your off to kill Lord Hadansus, aren't you?' The druid asked. Then she added the part Sylorel had dreaded hearing. 'The leader of the Desolace Dwellers, the one whose in allegiance to the Alliance?'
'Yes. I have been sent to assassinate him.' Sylorel prepared to freeze the Night Elf and run.
'Wonderful! If you are ready, I can help you past the guards!'
Sylorel was stunned. This druid would help him kill one of her allies? Why?
Like the cliffhanger? plz R and R, i dont care if u just say 'this story suks/ is EPIC!'
