Kelly's never been very motherly, she was just efficient; which is why she decided she would give the boys the talk. Gustavo would probably fill them up with nonsense about how they'd lose fans and they should never do anything again. Mrs. Knight would probably spend more time giving them grief about never telling her and threaten them if they ever hurt Kendall.
If she wanted this over, fast she'd have to do it. After forcing Gustavo to give the boys the next off, which he was very, very hesitant to do. She walked into the Palm Wood Lobby, her heels clacking. She headed straight to the pool area, avoiding the hopeful eyes of every 'star' that were hoping she was coming for them.
They were there, of course. James tanning, though not orange, thank god he stared at "Sunscreen girl" occasionally. Carlos was staring longingly at the Jennifers, Logan was reading in a chair, and Kendall was swimming, Jo watching him religiously from her seat not too far off. Occasionally he broke surface to wink at her with a small smile.
Nothing different, no holding hands or afar looks. What the heck? Just as she was starting to doubt the truth in Gustavo's words, they spotted her. Kendall climbs out of the pool, Logan puts down his book and Carlos and James breaking their stares. He's almost always to nonchalant, when he was offered the original deal or when they had to go back to Minnesota.
"I need to speak with you, boys. It'll only take a second." She adds that last part when she feels Jo's angry glare directed t her. The boys follow when she walks away, eventually leading them to their apartment.
"My mom and Katie are out, if you wanted to talk to them."
Kendall informs her, brushing them water that had started to head to his eyes. He unlocks the door for her, and she leads them in.
"No, that's not it; the conversation just had to be. … private."
She says, looking at all the boys individually.
"So, James, what's with Addison?" She asks, remembering him staring at her.
"Who?" The pretty teen looks perplexed, trying to recall ever meeting an 'Addison'
"Sunblock girl."
"Oh! That's her name… well she's hot, I guess. We'd be awesome together." He smiles at that.
"Okay, Kendall. How are you and Jo?"
"We're fine; why?" Kendall looks confused, and she decides to explain, if not because these boys are kind of oblivious and she doesn't have all day.
"I just thought it be a big deal If she knew you were a cheater!" She stares at him accusingly when she finishes.
Logan steps up, his stare incredulous "You cheated on Jo? When?"
Kelly answers instead, her voice like ice. "Yesterday, with you three!"
Silence claims the apartment with that line.
"Jo and I broke up. Logan and Camille are awkward exes but still friends. Carlos and James lust for Jennifers and Sunblock…I mean Addison. Are you caught up?"
Kelly nods slowly, thanking the blonde boy silently and then walks out, reminding herself to keep a closer eye on what the boys do.
