—Epilogue: The End—

Surprise. That's all it took for Wendy Marvell to be tossed. One second she was blushing about her feelings about Natsu Dragneel and then the next she was saving her best friend from death, yet causing herself to go falling down a massive hole into a ravine.

"Ahhh!" Wendy shouted to no one, but herself as she braced for impact. Only the impact she anticipated never came. Her arms and legs were stretched out far enough to where she wedged herself in between two bent backwards rocks. Looking down, the dragon slayer cringed as all she saw was a black abyss below her. If I fall I am certainly done for. She thought as she began to panic on what needed to be done. She tried to crab walk up the side of the rock, only to lose her footing and watched as one of her legs began to slide down the side of the rock which would cause her to fall. She summoned all the wind power she had to force her leg not to move another inch. Timing it perfectly, Wendy air kicked herself off the rock and began to fly to the top as she saw little shards of light break through the open cracks between the rocks. However, before she could grab a ledge, the sky sorceress' wind gave out and she began to free fall back towards the ravine this time with nothing to catch her. Wendy anticipated for the impact, and after she let her guard down she nailed the ground of the ravine landing on rocks as she moaned in pain with her vision getting blurry. N-Natsu... She stuttered as her brain switched off and the sky dragon slayer was in a deep sleep.

—In Wendy Marvell's mind—

Wendy was dreaming. Yes, dreaming. No. Wait, was it dreaming? Images of her adventure began to pop into her mind, however the one that kept replaying the most was one she swore she hadn't seen before. It was a boy with pink hair on his knees with tears forming around his eyes. Flames began to spin off his figure as his eyes turned to slits and he stared at the opponent before him. With a vicious snarl, the boy angrily mumbled. "Do you know what you have done..."

The figure, who now was revealed to be a red haired girl, gave her own answer back to the boy as she frowned upon phrasing her wording. "I did something I'm not suppose to do, I killed someone. However, it's the only way this fight will end." The girl stated, rather bluntly.

Before anything else could occur, Wendy Marvell's mind began to become foggy as the memories and thoughts disappeared instantly as the dragon slayer was beginning to awake once more. Her eyes opened...only to see pure pitch black darkness. Huh? Where am I? She asked in her own mind while trying to figure out where she was and how she got here, only she couldn't. Where even is here? Then, like a light bulb, the information hit her. She was stuck in a ravine and had no clue what was going on outside, for all she knows if could be night. She used her dragon slayer sensing ability and was able to sense the hole that was somewhere above her. Then with a double Sky Dragon Roar, Wendy Marvell began to set sail for freedom. Instead, of her magic stalling out on her like the previous attempt she tried, this one worked. The Sky Sorceress of the FairyTail guild blasted through the rubble and shot into the sky, which was night as beautiful glowing yellow and white stars twinkled high above in the sky with a full moon at halfway's notice. Yes! I made it! She cheered happily. Then the thought came to her, where was her friends and was the battle over?

Using her sky magic to levitate her back down onto the damaged cliff from the random shockwave that occurred earlier, Wendy Marvell began to light herself a passage way down the cliff side and towards the fields and battle grounds. Last thing I saw, was Natsu fighting that red he-. Wendy's mind instantly froze. Red head. Red head. Red head. Erza! Wendy said happily, as she was confused why Natsu and Erza were fighting one another. Her brain was still fogged up as her FairyTail and Grimiore Heart memories had been merged together causing a major disruption making the poor girl wince in pain every time she tried to think straight. As she lit her way through the rest of the cliff and entered the fields, she noticed something that instantly got her dragon slayer smelling abilities to tingle. She smelled blood. Blood. It wasn't just any blood either, it was Alice's. Wendy observableity scanned her surroundings with panic rising within in as she searched for her friend. Then after being halfway through the fields, she noticed a figure laying near a tree. As she ran up to the figure, she froze just a few feet away from the tree. Lying there, with their eyes closed and multiple noticeable sized holes through her was Alice Woodson. She lay in her own pool of blood, dead.

"Alice no!" Wendy shouted into the night sky as she ran to her friend's side and wrapped her small hands around the girl's fragile and unmoving body. She cried into her chest and her senses told her that Alice had been gone for atleast four hours. However, through her tears and sadness for the loss of her best friend, Wendy smelled something else. Another scent, the one she had craved the past few days. It was Natsu Dragneel's scent. Wendy whispered to the heavens that she would be back for Alice and bolted up the hill that laid atop the fields. As she began to make the final few yard distances up between her and the scent, she looked around. The hill was a mess. Scorched marks, of what she assumed was Natsu's fire, littered the ground everywhere as destruction had destroyed many trees. However, what caught her eye was a liquid type looking trail that led somewhere. Smelling it, she knew the trail belonged to instantly. Please no! Don't let this be happening! Wendy feared as she walked slowly while following the trail until she strolled up to a figure laying against a rock facing the stars. The figure's fade was illuminated by the shining light as pink haired locks was revealed with a tattered black coat and white scarf wrapped around their neck with a large sword slash going through their chest. It was Natsu Dragneel. He laid there unmoving. A peaceful smile rested on his lips as his dull, and now immobilized black eyes, scanned the night sky in awaitence for something, or rather someone. Wendy, eyes forming with tears closed his eyes with her delicate small fingers and weeped into the now deceased fire dragon slayer's chest. Why...Why did they take you! Dammit! Answer me! She shouted towards the sky in anger, frustration, sadness and heart break. Her dark blue hair flowed endlessly behind her as she cried and cried into Natsu's chest. She knew who had done this. Erza Scarlet. Erza Scarlet had cold blood murdered her Natsu Dragneel. The anger began to dwell within the sky dragon slayer as all she thought about was revenge. Gone was the sweet innocent Wendy Marvell. This night began a new person who Wendy would be. She would not rest until Erza Scarlet was dead. Glancing towards her back, where her blade was sheathed in she angrily looked into the night sky. I'm coming for you Scarlet...

After mourning the loss of her boyfriend, Natsu Dragneel, Wendy Marvell picked him up bridal style and gently carried him down the hill and laid him down under the tree next to Alice. Using her Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Shattering Light Sky Drill, Wendy dug up lots of the ground creating two burial holes for each of them. She took two fallen rocks and drilled into them until they were firm as she wrote down their names. As she finished working on Alice's tombstone it read;

Here lies Alice Woodson, a loving friend, a caring person and a dragon slayer. The water dragon slayer and daughter of Auga.

Once she completed Alice's tombstone, Wendy started work on Natsu's. She wanted it to be special considering this would be her last gift to him before they would separate. She began to drill into the tombstone and once it too was finished the stone read;

Here lies Natsu Dragneel, FairyTail's burning flame, protector of the dragon kin, beloved lover. The fire dragon slayer and son of Igneel.

Once Wendy had finished both tombstones, she gently carried Alice's bloody and light body to the hole and used her magic to levitate her down. Once Alice's body was in the ground, Wendy then covered her up with dirt and placed the tombstone above her. Following that, she looked over to her lover. Tears began to appear in the corners of her eyes as she knew this was the final moments she had with him before he would be completely gone. She walked over to his pale, limp and cold body and reache for his neck while grabbing his dragon scaled cloth scarf in the process. She wrapped it around her own neck as a small grin appeared at the edge of her mouth feeling the past warm ness radiate onto her. Feeling refreshed and soothed, she gently lifted Natau up and same as she did for Alice, levitated him into his own dug out grave. Wendy looked down into the uncovered ground and said her final goodbyes as she kneeled before both of their graves.

"Thank you so much for everything you did for me my love. You taught me how to grow in strength and to not give up no matter what I'm up against. I will not fail you as I am still your apprentice and will get revenge for you and Alice. I know she was once our friend from FairyTail, but from this day forward she is an enemy to my soul and I must defeat her to feel like myself again, which I never will. Goodbye beloved." She finished with tears running down her face as she adjusted her arm and wiped her face, tears drying up. Finally, after what seemed like forever, Wendy Marvell covered Natsu Dragneel's body up and placed the tombstone above him. She stared at both of the graves for a long time before turning her back and began to walk away. Her blue hair a mess, eyes raging with anger, heart broken in sadness and blade on her back, Wendy walked away from the tree which rested below two of her former comrades. One her best friend and fellow apprentice while the other was her lover and master. Alice's water had been dried up while Natsu's flames had finally been distinguished.

—Unknown Location—

In a deep forest to the north of Grimiore Heart's base, a girl with dark red hair is scene walking on a trail trying to find her path through a dark storm. Light tears stained near the corners of her delicate eyes as she was suffering with pain from her own choice. No matter how hard she attempted to ignore him, his voice kept coming back to her.

"What does it look like? Can't you see I'm corrupted, my memories tainted and my heart shattered more then once, and now I'm dying...All because of you." A figure sadly frowned. "Everything I did for you and this is what you give me...The Darkness has come...The End will be upon you one day Erza..."

I did what I had to do dammit! Stop haunting me Natsu, I am sorry! The girl thought hardly to herself trying to push away the faint voice of a ghost. Suddenly, Erza Scarlet lost her footing and tripped, following into the wet soil.

A small fragile voice cried out towards the sky, "It wasn't suppose to end this way, Natsu!" The FairyTail wizard began to sob as freshly formed tears began to fall down her cheeks and would soon splash into the soil below. "We were suppose to become a big family! FairyTail was your home. It was just suppose to be a simple mission...to save our comrade and your little sister. Oh...where did we go wrong my love? What point in our lives did trouble finally catch us? This is all my fault...if I would of stopped you and Happy sooner instead of agreeing to act on this insane plan, then things might of turned out different for us." She finished her outburst while bringing her armored gauntlet up to her cheek and wiping away the tears. Erza picked herself off the ground and began to walk again with a new mission in mind. I must get back to FairyTail.

—Outside Grimiore Heart's Fortress—

Wendy Marvell was running top speed towards her guild hall. With a freshly opened mind, now that Hades' spell had been destroyed, she had to accept if she was a FairyTail mage or a Grimiore Heart mage. After a long hard thought and deciding since her friends were with Grimiore Heart and her enemy was with FairyTail, the choice was quite clear for the Sky Dragon Slayer to choose. After what seemed like a long sprint for the dragon slayer, Wendy charged up the hill and burst into the guild hall. Inside sitting what looked to be a battlefield were: most of the 7 Kin of Purgatory, Jenny and a few other Grimiore Heart members. Upon, her blasting entrance through the guild doors, Jenny was the first to react.

"Wendy! You are alive, thank the heavens!" She ran up to her friend mid sprint off her barstool.

"I am, it's so good to see you!" Wendy quickly replied. However, following Wendy's reply, Jenny looked around confused.

"Hey, uh Wendy?" Jenny asked.

"Yeah what is it?"

"Where is Alice?" Jenny asked once more.

"Yeah, where is Natsu?" Zancrow added as he now appeared at both the girls' sides. Wendy started at them both before watching the rest of the guild had their eyes set on her and were waiting for an answer.

"They...they didn't make it." Wendy glumly stated as her expression changed and she felt like she would start crying once again.

"What?" That's impossible!" Zancrow angrily and shockedly yelled. "Who would Natsu lose to? He is one of the strongest wizards I know!"

"Natsu and Alice...both lost to Erza Scarlet." Wendy answered as fresh tears fell down her face which Jenny instantly noticed and grabbed Wendy shoving her in a blocked off room from the guild hall and quickly followed suite.

"Natsu...is dead?" Zancrow confusedly asked to no one in particular before falling back on his barstool in a hard thought.

—With Wendy and Jenny—

Jenny quickly ushered Wendy into a room away from the guild hall and quickly followed after her as she knew she had to suck up the loss of her friend and soothe her other friend. Jenny laid Wendy down on sofa before sitting across from her in a rocking chair as she began to speak.

"Now, now Wendy it is okay. Would you like to tell me what happened?" Jenny asked her.

"I am not really sure what happen, but Alice and I were watching Natsu and Erza's fight on top of a cliff before several earth quake occurred and destroyed our platform. I shoved Alice off with my magic and was able to get her to safety, before a third earth quake through me down a hole into a ravine and I fell unconscious shortly after. After I escaped, I ran down the hill and saw massive wreckage. As I entered the fields, I saw a figure lying down against a tree and when I got close enough, I realized it was Alice. She had Natsu's scent all over her and Erza's magic going through her. I then feared the worst and when I followed the hill up to the final arena, it was a blood bath. The ground was scorched almost everywhere and dried blood was in places here and there. However, what got my attention was a liquid trail that led to the end of the hill and laying against a rock was none other then Natsu himself, dead. I am not sure exactly how he died, but I know Erza somehow killed him." Wendy explained and at the end was back crying.

Jenny didn't say anything else and soothed the crying girl to the best of her ability as a mother would do to an upset child. Oh Wendy...you poor thing. Natsu and Alice, thank you for everything you have done for me and my guild.

"Look at me Wendy." Jenny spoke catching the girl's attention as the dragon slayer looked up. "We are going to get through this together, I promise you. No one gets left behind." She stated with a determined look in her eye as Wendy could only nod with the little hope that remained within her.

"Now now, how about we stop this crying and go train huh?" Jenny tried to cheer her up as Wendy only nodded and the two best friends got up and headed out towards the guild hall. However, as they appeared back, Zancrow pulled Jenny aside and whispered something into her ear. Jenny looked shock at first, then nodded as she grabbed Wendy's arm and pulled her out the guild doors.

Confused, Wendy asked her friend, "Hey Jenny? What was that all about?" After hearing her dreaded question, Jenny pulled Wendy aside and looked straight into her eyes and answered the Sky Sorceress.

"Master Hades is gone."

Wendy Marvell was shocked. Words formed at the tip her tongue, but she couldn't speak. Finally after a little while, she ushered her strength and found the right words. "What do you mean he is gone Jenny?"

Wanting to change the topic, Jenny replied quickly. "Master Hades was killed by FairyTail's current master." She said solemnly.

Killed...Killed? Master Makarov killed Master Hades? Wendy asked herself in her own mind confused as she fondly remembered Makarov was all about not killing human beings. However, her thoughts were interrupted when she realized her friend had started to weep silently into her hands.

Wendy, being the good friend she is and repaying the favor to her for earlier, pulled Jenny from her hands and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Master Hades was like a father to me. He helped me as a child along with Alice. I deeply miss him and I know Alice would too." She explained between outbursts.

"There, there. It's okay Jenny. What did you say earlier huh? We are going to get through this together." Wendy reassured her as she looked off into the distance.

"Wendy, what are you thinking?" Jenny asked.

"I am...I am going to finish what Natsu and Alice started. I am going to track down Erza Scarlet and kill her." Wendy explained sternly as they marched towards the arena to train. For the first time in her life, after hearing her words, Jenny felt fear of being around Wendy Marvell. All the girl could do was nod and accept the path the Sky Dragon Slayer was setting herself upon.

"Then I promise you Wendy, I will be at your side every step of the way." She spoke with a grin appearing on her face, to which Wendy responded with. "Let's go train now."

"Right!" Wendy cheered as they burst into the large oak doors and trekked to the middle of the arena.

—Magnolia Border—

Crack

Crack

Snap

That's what Erza Scarlet heard for the last four hours of her wandering trip through the forest until she finally reached Magnolia's Border. All the red haired wizard had heard for such a long time was the snap of twigs on the ground and the distant flow of running water. However, now she heard birds chirping and could see sunlight rays beginning to appear through the open branches in trees. Finally, I have made it! After another good half an hour, Erza conquered the great forest and made her way down the hill which she could see a large city in the distance. It was Magnolia, FairyTail's home. She ran down the hill and shortly after she emerged at the bottom entering the city's gates. The place was lively as ever, with shop owners shouting orders, little children laughing together as they played and also the distance echo of a train leaving the near by station.

Magnolia was the place that FairyTail was founded upon by Mavis Vermillion herself and Erza along with her guild had made many memories there. Laxus Dreyar, Makarov's grand son, had nearly literally zapped the city with a lightning bolt parade after his ego got the best of him since he thought the guild was weak. However, he was bested by the FairyTail's dragonslayers Natsu Dragneel and Gajeel Redfox. Gajeel had used himself as a lightning rod to protect Natsu after Laxus was about to kill him, to which Natsu quickly got back up and owned the attacker into the ground, which Laxus was shortly expelled from FairyTail after. This was Erza Scarlet's home and she was super glad to be back.

Upon seeing her, the townsfolk greeted her in surprise since they had heard wind about the famous battle between FairyTail and Grimiore Heart. No news had gotten around yet, however that Natsu Dragneel had been killed by her. For all she knew, she was the only one other then Natsu himself who knew about his death. She had also killed one of his apprentices who turned out to be a dragon slayer as well which she used to her advantage to set Natsu off which ultimately led to his dimise due to his anger. She greeted the people back and smiled at them glad to see all her hard work as a wizard was paying off, she was keeping the town safe from danger and that's what mattered to her the most aside from keeping her guild mates safe.

Erza Scarlet walked up to the FairyTail guild and looked at its front gates and wondered. Things are going to be a lot different now. I killed two people which is something against the FairyTail rules. I must be punished. She thought to herself as she then walked up to the guild hall doors and pushed them open awaiting to see what was in store for her.

When she walked in, she was stunned to find the guild hall full of people...but it wasn't what she was expecting. Instead of finding the normal and famous lively and rowdy guild she had been apart of for the past few years, the guild was sullen and mournful. In fact, no one even realized she had appeared in the guild hall until Mirajane looked up from her kitchen cleaning and noticed the red head.

"Erza!" The white haired wizard shouted in surprise and happiness as she ran towards her best friend. Hearing that familiar name vaporized the guild's trance as they looked up and saw the scarlet haired knight staring back at them in wonder.

"Erza!" The guild shouted as they jumped off their seats, bar stools, the floor and ran towards the Queen of the Fairies herself.

"Hello everyone." She spoke as she finished greeting them all and hearing their praise that she was back to which she brushed aside like normally.

"Erza, once you're finished head to my office please." Master Makarov called to her as he began to make his long trek up the stairs to his office.

"Yes, Master." Erza answered in respect informing him she would be there shortly.

"Erza follow me." Mirajane whisperd in her ear and the two female FairyTail wizards walked into the kitchen. After they were in privacy, Mirajane spoke. "Where have you been?" She asked.

"I have been on a long journey from Grimiore Heart's fortress back here to Magnolia. I sorta got lost so when I was expecting to be back sooner, I was back later then I wanted to." She explained feeling a little sheepish at the end.

"Where is Natsu?" Mirajane asked. That question made Erza's blood run cold.

Shoot! What do I say? Erza quickly pondered then figured out a solution. "He is back resting, he told me he was really tired and was gonna rest up before going on a training mission. He should be back within a month or two." Erza flat out lied to her friend not wanting to submit and tell the truth just yet, because it made her feel uncomfortable knowing she took another human's life, specifically a former friend's.

"Oh he is? Alright that is good to know!" The white haired she-devil chuckled and began to clean dirty dishes. As the scarlet haired knight prepared to exit, Mira walked back to her and gave her a hug while whispering something into her ear which made the requisite mage go shell shocked.

Erza decided it would best to go ahead and get this visit with master done with. Climbing up to the second floor of the guild hall she secretly smiled to herself remembering when Natsu, Lucy and Happy snuck away on an S Class job on Galuna Island. Smiling sadly knowing that not only had Natsu perished in the fight but Lucy had been defeated too. Where was Happy? No one knew. The little blue kitten had not seen since his leaked information of what happen to Natsu and Wendy.

Wendy... The little girl who was corrupted Natsu Dragneel's girlfriend. She probably is still trapped and unfortunately gone. Once her thoughts cleared up, Erza found herself at the door of Master Makarov's office. She raised her arm and lightly nocked while hearing a voice speak behind it.

"Come in." It said. She then opened the door and walked in, sitting on the opposite of Makarov in a chair.

"Erza, my dear, how have you been?" Makarov asked.

"I am fine Master, thank you for asking." She answered him.

"That was quite the entrance you had in our little argument we had going on." He lightly chuckled.

"Well, yeah, we are FairyTail after all." Erza also spoke while laughing. Than, Makarov noticed something.

"What is troubling you?" He asked.

"Troubling me? Nothing is trouble me Master."

"Erza, don't lie to me. Something is defiantly bothering you." He insisted.

"Alright, something is troubling me." She admitted.

"What is the problem dear." He asked her.

"I committed a serious sin." She bluntly stated before she started to tense up.

"Okay go on, what was this serious sin?"

"I took another being's life." She once again, blunty stated tensing up even more than before.

Makarov saw how she was breaking, however he wanted to get it off her chest so he finally asked after a quick moment of silence, "Whose life did you take Erza?" The scarlet haired knight remained sitting in the chair, not making a single movement. She felt she would pass out at any moment as memories of her final confrontation with the dragon slayer played back through her mind. Finally, she found her voice and answered FairyTail's current master.

"I killed...I killed Natsu." She admitted as her eyes began to tear up and she sobbed into her arms. She hated herself. She finally had a new relationship going and it was with her crush Natsu Dragneel, FairyTail's Salamander and the famous fire dragon slayer. However, she went and ruined that by killing him on the spot by impaling him with one of her requipped weapons.

Master Makarov did not say anything for a while as both FairyTail wizards sat in the office in complete silence, both pondering their thoughts. Natsu is dead? I was hoping the rumors weren't true. However, it seems like Precht was to powerful for him and corrupted him. I am so sorry for failing you my son, please forgive me and please do not hold a grudge on Erza.

"Erza." Makarov finally spoke, breaking the silence.

"Y-yes Master?" Erza replied as she attempted to dry her tears. She was expecting to be kicked from the guild for her actions and was prepared to face the consequences.

"Go home To Fairy Hills and rest. That right now is what you need the most. R-e-s-t. Alright my dear?" He stated.

"Y-yes Master." She confusedly agreed and he dismissed her from his office. What a mess...He thought sadly to himself.

—Grimiore Heart Arena—

However, as soon as the Sky Dragon entered the arena she fell onto her knees and began to sob again. Immediately, Jenny came to her side.

"Wendy! What's wrong?" She quickly asked worried for her friend.

"It's just...this is where me, Natsu and Alice trained right before the battle started she stated sadly to which Jenny understood. The brunette nodded and whispered a few soothing words into her ear before she stood up and walked out of the arena. She wanted to give as much time to Wendy as she needed in order to help her get over her losses.

Wendy looked up and glanced around as she saw ghost versions of Alice, Natsu and herself. Hades had charged Natsu and her with training Alice after he revealed she was the water dragon slayer. Alice was an excellent learner as she did everything Natsu asked her to try and nearly did them perfectly. Finally at the end of the training, Natsu had Alice and Wendy scrimmage one another. She remembered watching Alice get into a stance similar to something she had seen Natsu do before and the blonde released a large hurricane before the spell fizzled, failed and she fell to the floor exhausted and unconscious. That's when the ghost version of her looked up at a pleased Natsu Dragneel as the two dragon slayers glanced at one another.

"She is an amazing fighter Natsu." She had spoke while looking up into his eyes.

"Yeah, she is damn good, but I know someone better." He had told her.

"Oh? Who?" She had asked in wonder.

"You." He had replied as a giant grin appeared on the ghost's face and he grabbed her wrapping her in a hug. "You did amazing today!" Wendy with cherry colored cheeks and full of embarrassment, only nodded and then smiled up at him while she mirrored his grin.

The ghosts vanished as she was once again alone in the giant arena resting on her knees. Her scabbard which held the magical sword, the Wind Blade. Hades had given both her and Natsu one which had magical adapted abilities and were made specially for them. She remembered how excited the fire dragon slayer had gotten when he first got his blade and how Hades scolded him for interrupting him multiple times. I will miss you Master Hades...and thank you for everything.

Suddenly, like the arena fight memory, her scene changed and she in the armory building once again. Three ghosts which consisted of: Hades, Natsu and herself stood glancing and examining the magical swords. Hades had left and it was just the two dragon slayers alone. It was the first time she had the courage to try to make a move on the pinkette.

She had attached her sheathe to her back and and grabbed Natsu's for him while he was entertaining himself and testing his sword. Her ghost came up from behind and wrapped his sheathe around his waist.

"W-woah." Natsu startled, stunned from the sudden change of events and Wendy's movement.

"S-sorry." Wendy mumbled as her face turned tomato red from her actions which Natsu had as well. Breaking from his trance, Natsu had said "Na, it's all good. Thanks!" and gave her his trademark which she had grown to know and love.

The two happy ghosts disappeared once more and as Wendy thought her visions were finished, one more appeared. This one was of two ghosts laying on a bed in the laboratory, of course it was her and Natsu to which her cheeks tinted pink remembering this embarrassing moment, specifically because Alice had mentioned they had been busted by her and Jenny prior to the battle.

The ghost of Wendy laid on top of the other ghost dragonslayer, pretty much straddling him. She let out a little eek! Unfortunately for her, the little outburst of embarrassment awoke the dragon sleeping under neath her and his onyx orbs had flashed open. Black eyes met brown as the two just stared at each other, not saying a word.

"Hi." Natsu had said.

"H-hi" Wendy quickly replied stuttering, cheeks flaring red with embarrassment. "S-sleep good?" She had asked.

"Yep. All Refreshed." He answered her. "So..." His temperature had begun to heat up more then it usually would. "What were you doing?" He had asked couldn't even explain herself as the ghost froze, skin paling up while her face was as red as a certain scarlet knight's hair.

"N-nothing." She finally had mustered an answer despite her obvious embarrassment.

"Ok." Natsu smiled back at her causing her to fluster more as he shut his eyes.

"W-what are you doing?" She had asked. His eyes once again opened revealing a shiny onyx look to them.

"Going back to sleep." He replied as he once again shut his eyes and his grin began to grow larger.

"D-do you want me to m-move?" She had meekly spoke, hoping he would say no.

"I don't mind." He had answered her while opening up one of his eyes before closing it.

"O-k." Wendy lightly spoke as she laid down on top of him. Thinking the dragon slayer was asleep, ghost Wendy had whispered, "I love you Natsu" while closing her eyes. However, what she heard next froze her in place.

"Same can be said for you." A voice had said as her eyes immediately shot open to see black eyes staring up at her. He let loose his signature grin before drifting back off to sleep and began lightly snoring. When Wendy was certain that he had fallen asleep, she raised her head and gave him a little peck on the cheek with her lips.

"We'll get there somehow Natsu." She had lightly smiled as she then rested her head down on his chest and went to sleep.

The last vision brought Wendy to tears even more than the first, mainly because it was one of the last moments alone she had with Natsu before the battle with FairyTail. FairyTail. Her former guild and where the killer of her boyfriend and best friend was currently stationed. She made sure her scabbard was secure on her back and ran out of the arena planning something through her mind.

Last that night, while everyone was asleep snoozing quietly in their dreams, one soul was still awake. She scribbled nice and neat in cursive that she had learned from Mirajane a few years before Tenrou Island. It was a letter. A letter to Jenny which the dragon slayer assumed she would share with the rest of the guild once she finished reading it for herself. She had packed enough food and water for her journey as well as packing a duffel bag filled with spare clothing. Making sure she was prepared and ready for the grueling journey to Fiore, Wendy Marvell walked through her still broken glass door that she had thrown Natsu through when Hades had controlled her. The bluenette stood looking out from her terrace with her dark locks of hair flying in the night breeze behind her as the scaled dragon scarf flew from her neck as well. Her scabbard rested securely on her back as the sky dragon slayer glanced through the dark black sky with determination. I will not fail.

At Fairy Hills—

Across bridges and hills, a scarlet haired girl is seen walking on a path leading her somewhere. The sun light begins to dwindle as sunset is approaching. Tightly fastened armor and the famous insignia on her shoulder pad anyone with a brain knew who it was. But the warrior who was always looking up to see what was next was looking...down?

Why did I kill him...I should have just let him strike me down in my place and that would have been it. Now I have to worry about not only killing Natsu, but his so called apprentice. Who was she?

Her thoughts were interrupted as she appeared at the large black gates of Fairy Hills. She chuckled lightly to herself as she remembered this is where Natsu and her became a thing after he snuck in with Happy to try to apologize to her for his disappearance. A thought came to her and she examined the gates. Noticing no burn marks on the gate she wondered how he got in. Perhaps him and Happy flew over?

Erza Scarlet took out a key and unlocked the gate before walking through the opening space and re-locking it. Home sweet home. The knight began walking up the steps and knew no one was there. They were either at the guild hall or out doing jobs for rent money. That meant she for once had the whole place to herself and that made the red head feel nice. She thought about sneaking into the other women's rooms and exposing their secrets as a joke, but as she forming a master plan in her mind, she yawned. Maybe Master Makarov was right. I do need some rest. That long trip was exhausting and rest sounds nice. With that Erza walked into her room and laid down on her large bed. Before the mage dozed off she lightly chuckled to herself evilly remembering this is where she had Natsu tied up.

—Night time: Fairy Hills—

A long trip. A very long trip. That is what was currently going through Wendy Marvel's mind. However, it was worth it. She had finally arrived at the place where her dragon senses told her the great Titania of FairyTail lie resting, FairyHills. The Sky Dragon Slayer thought to herself; Hah, I once lived here. With enough provisions to cure her hunger and thirst and more then well enough rest to keep her awake and ready for any danger, the dragon slayer was ready to complete her promise. I will avenge you Natsu and Alice.

She snuck across the yard and followed the path to the great large black gate that blocked unwanted intruders entry. I was once a member of this place, I wonder if they still have me active? She remembered from her old memories a box with all their names so looked to the right and saw the boxes marked with their names. All them had numbers that would open each one. What number was hers? Oh yeah! I remember now! She excitedly shouted to herself as she punched in the numbers, 11 2 17. And...the box gears began to squirm as it popped open and inside she saw a key. Perfect!

Grabbing the silver key, Wendy Marvel gently closed the box door and walked over once more to the large gate. She inserted the key into the gate and turned it as she heard a click sound. Pushing her body into it, the gate gave in and allowed her entry. Gently closing the gate she began to walk to the flickering light which lead to the steps. Walking up the steps her mind was set on Erza's room, however some subconscious told her to go to the top floor first. So she did. Arriving st the top floor and opening the single door that rest there, her sights were enveloped as thousands of memories flowed into her mind just seeing the sight of this room. Vaguely, she sensed Natsu and Happy, his exceed, scents. Thinking of the exceed, she remembered. Eight years it has been since I last talk to her, I hope she is okay. She walked across her room floor and glanced about while taking in the sights as much as she could. She kneeled on the ground and looked up at her roof as tears began to appear from his eyes.

"Look at me Grandeeny, look at what I have become..." She silently cried to herself, because she was ashamed with herself. Gone was the kind and nervous little kid. Here she now was, a blood thirsty dragon slayer wanting revenge for the fallen.
