Prompt: Cinnamon

A/N: First attempt at Ginny/Harry, go easy on me folks ;)

Ginny Weasly reminded him of cinnamon; a sweet-smelling spice of sorts. Ginny Weasly was full of spice, which is something which could not be denied. She radiated spice, it shone from within her and was reiterated in her every action and every word she uttered. She was as spicy as a chilli-coated pepper, but Harry was always fond of spice anyway.

Another reason Ginny reminded him of cinnamon was because she was so different. Outwardly, none could refute; her striking red hair and flawless bone structure separated her from many a crowd. She had an eye-catching appeal, a perfumed allure to which Harry had fallen for. She was very different inwardly too; no other girl had made Harry feel so raw and powerful. He had felt, at times, like he was possessed by a monstrous force; sometimes raging a silent battle inside him and at other times purring softly in the recesses of his body, content with her yet hungry for more of her.

You will find that cinnamon is best acquainted with a sweet treat; cinnamon and sweetness comes hand in hand, much like Ginny who was all spice and sugar. Indeed, she was undoubtedly spicy but she exhaled something more, something sweet and soft and subtle. Harry enjoyed her cute little habits, her guilty pleasures and vices. He relished in her sweetness, the monster inside of him tingled at her soft touches just as much as it tantalized at her rougher ones.

So yes, he could conclude, Ginny did remind him very much of the aromatic spice made from the dried bark of a Southeast Asian tree.
