A.N./ This takes place right after they say their good byes to the Starlights:/
"It would seem our princess is safe once more." Sailor Neptune said softly to Uranus as they walked away from the other senshi.
"So it would seem. You know, I didn't know that there were other senshi out there. Who knows, there could be even more threats out there to come bully our beloved idiotic princess."
"That's not very nice. Am I going to have to punish yo-" She is stopped as Uranus suddenly captured her lips with her own. Neptune's eyes widened as Uranus cradled her face in her hand. Her kiss was full of passion and desire. As Neptune returned Uranus' kiss, she could feel wet drops on to her face.
"Haru- Uranus? What is it?" She looked up at the always confident senshi.
Uranus' eyes watered as tears feel from her eyes. "I... I almost lost you..." Uranus managed to say as the tears seemed to overwhelm her. "Because of me... because I was careless... I couldn't save you from-" She is stopped by Neptune's finger.
"I knew the risk of our plan." Neptune removed her finger from Uranus' lips, only to use it to brush her tears away. "I want to be with you until the end." She kissed both of Uranus' cheeks. "When the end comes, we will face it together."
Uranus takes Neptune's hands and holds them close to her chest. "This heart... beats for only you. Forever..."
Neptune smiled at her beloved Uranus. She knew those words were true. Even if one day they would return to their homes, they would never forget one another. Never stop loving one another. "Haruka..."
"Michiru..." Uranus slowly warped her arms lovingly and protectively around Neptune. She slowly moved her face closure to Neptune's. "I love you-"
"-Always." Neptune finished her sentence, and captured Uranus' lips in the most gentle and loving kiss she'd ever had.
