Leroy Jethro Gibbs opened his eyes and glanced at the time. It was 6AM.
'I must've fallen asleep' he thought.
Then he realised that he was in his basement. Gibbs ran up the stairs, ate some cereal which took 15 minutes and went through to his lounge.
2 pictures then caught his eye. One of them had him, Shannon and Kelly and the other one had his former girlfriend, his partner, his best friend and his boss, Director Jenny Shepard and him in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Gibbs's mind flashed to when she left him in Paris. Pain filled his face and his mind. The door opened and Gibbs didn't realise because his flashback had occupied his mind.
"Jethro? Jethro?" It was Jenny.
She ran in to see one of her closest friends, former boss and lover who she still loved, staring into space with a look of pain on his face.
"Jen. Jen" he whispered.
"Jethro" Jenny said silently, before he wrapped his arms around her waist and Jenny put her arms around his neck.
"What happened?" Jenny asked.
"Paris" Gibbs replied.
Jenny knew exactly what he was thinking. He was thinking of when she left him.
"I'm sorry Jethro" she whispered as a few tears poured down her face.
"Rule 6" Gibbs replied silently.
He wiped away the tears with the back of his hand and put his lips softly onto hers.
"I love you Jen" he said.
"I love you too Jethro" she replied.
Gibbs then picked Jenny up bridal style and then they went upstairs to the bedroom to make up for many years of being apart.
This was sitting around. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever and the plot bunny's just plain evil. I know the name is crap but I couldn't think of anything else so if you have an idea of what else to call it then please let me know (in a review or PM.) Sorry for my longish hiatus. I was really busy, I had no ideas for Operation Jibbs and Truth Or Dare and then I had my appendix taken out so I was in hospital for 2 nights and a whole day without WiFi. I'm still working on TOD and OJ. The next chapters for those 2 should hopefully be up soon. Thanks for reading. Xxoo
