Never and forever—Frozen in time

A poem from Kikyou's point of view

The sun is… too bright;

In darkness I'm … without light.

The pale moon… so high—

Is full of borrowed light

(Just as I am)

But I still sit… and wait

Waiting for… that day

When I can hold you in… my arms

That day is just too far

Living is the only way

That I… I can stay

Close… to you

I'll never go through

(And go back to the Hell that I'm meant to be in)

I'll be waiting… forever

I'll stop my walking?… never

I'll always wait… for you

There's nothing else to do

I'm waiting; I need you

To keep me warm.

In this cold clay body

My soul's been torn

My lies said, "I hate you"

But that's not true

That's why I can't move on

Without you
