First Hunger Games Fanfic please be nice NO FLAMES! Ps. she is a girl.

I hated the Capitol I hated the Hunger Games I hated Reaping day.

I glanced up at the clock from my bed 20 minutes till the ceremony. "Bang! Bang! Bang!" Someone was knocking on my door, quick as a flea some people called me I opened my drawers and hopped inside and somehow managed to close it.

It was my new hiding spot from the Peacekeepers. It was them knocking on my door. They were coming to bring me to the reaping ceremony. I never went couldn't watch people's be drawn from a glass ball and never see them again.

"Open the door!" said Onil.

I heard a clinking sound as he took his key to my house and opened the door.

"Where are you? Do we really have to go through this every year?" He said.

I looked through a little crack in the wood he cut open my mattress, he stamped on the ground to see if there was a trap door and my closet.

Then the wood cracked under me I was a bit too heavy for this hiding spot.

As soon as he heard it he swung around and looked straight at my hiding spot. He walked over and opened it grabbed my arm and pulled me out.

"Ahhhh! Not so hard" I said.

"This is nothing compared what other Peacekeepers would do" said Onil.

He made a gun with his hand and imitated it shooting me.

"Lucky you only I know about this" he said.

Onil thought this was a little joke or game but it wasn't I was serious I will never willingly attend the reaping.

As he "guided" me to the place it would me I tried to guess who it might be this year.

I hope it isn't Angy from across the street she had just recently turned 12. Or Noap who was very quiet and wouldn't stand a chance in the games but he has his name put in 10 extra times.

I went to stand over by the 15 year old girls.

I glanced over to the 12 year olds they were all terrified. Angy was trembling all over.

The first name was about to be taken.

I held my breath fearing for all my friends.
