(A.N. I was re- watching Doctor Who series two and decided to re write this, as all the emotions came flooding back again!)

I own nothing, but enjoy!

The doctor turned his head and saw her beautiful smile beaming at him, his Rose just a few metres away. When he looked into those eyes the suffering of the last… well… eternity just melted away. It didn't matter that the Daleks were back. It didn't matter that the Earth was in peril. There was just Rose and the Doctor. So they did what they always did, they ran. The Doctor couldn't remember the last time he ran so fast and so desperately.

Even though she was close to him, she felt further away than when she was in the parallel universe. The Doctor knew what those few feet left could easily tear them apart once more. She might slip away like he did on the beach. The terrible beach that haunts him every night in his sleep. Dårlig was more evil than a Dalek. In the background he heard Jack blow up something, but the Doctor didn't even bother to turn around, he needed to have Rose in his arms again. Even if it was just for one last time.

Rose catapulted into her Doctor, nearly sending him flying. They wrapped their arms around each other and were one again. He nuzzled deep into her hair and sighed with both disbelief and relief. Tears were openly streaming down his face as he sobbed loudly into her neck. Rose clung to him, her arms encircling his neck in a deadlock seal. Nothing in the entire world could prize the two apart at that moment. Suddenly, the Doctor reared his head back.

"Rose" he choked. "I love you".

Rose smiled, leant forward and finally kissed him. They moulded into one another instantly. All their pent-up emotions and their deep, universal love for one another were poured into that kiss. They broke apart and looked into each other's eyes. Rose beamed at the Doctor and he grinned right back.

"Hello" Rose giggled.

The Doctor was two happy and in shock to formulate an answer so he just settled for smiling incessantly at her.

"Oi, spaceman, remember we have a world to save?" Donna interrupted, as about ten minutes had passed of her and Jack awkwardly watching Rose and the Doctor reunite.

The Doctor laughed with his hands still holding Rose's hips. He turned back to Rose and held out his hand, and wiggled his fingers like he did that night in the snow. She grabbed his hand and they ran into the TARDIS.
