I've had Baby Deadly on my mind, since the zMuppet Babies reboot is happening this year and hopefully he will be there, but this little story involves naps, and a grumpy little dragon, which is too cute in my opinion.
In this little story, little Deadly is refusing to nap, which surprises the others but they eventually get him to nap when he zones out while playing a game.
It was a typical day in the daycare, and Kermit and the others had just woken up from naps seeing that a certain infant dragon in a purple onesie with a hole for his tail with a cloak over it was still awake, making them surprised because they always took Teir nap, seeing Deadly with a toy organ and his stuffed penguin, Gloria beside him.
"Umm, didn't you feel like taking your nap, and aren't you sleepy?" Kermit heard Skeeter ask.
"Nope, dragons like me don't nap, or phantoms either, Tney're too busy protecting Tteasure, or scaring people." Deadly said smiling, revealing a baby fang.
"But you're little like us, we need naps to grow bigger!" Sam said getting upset, as zJanice was hugging him, making the little eagle calmer, making Constantine grin at Deadly, because he didn't see the point of naps either making the others surprised.
"Hmm, look at Deadly, he keeps rubbing his eyes, maybe he does need an nap." Scooter said as they were going to tne playhouse which served as a fort, but also a prop for imagination games, like a castle plus we're having Tneir afternoon snack there.
"Maybe we can trick him, into taking one, he likes magic tricks, remember?" Gonzo said.
"It is a good idea, but maybe we can wear him out, while playing." Rowlf said hearing a ball hit the door, making Sam grab a pair of toy binoculars, seeing Constantine and Deadly were doing it, thinking wearing Deadly out was a good idea, since right now, they were in tne mood to play.
"You better come out, before I make my dragon pet blow the house down!" Constantine said, making Deadly giggle at what was going on, yawning a little, making Constantine surprised, thinking his friend didn't nap seeing the light blue scaled infant shake it off, making the others grin, chasing both Constantine and Deadly around the room, after a while they noticed Deadly stopping feeling sleepy.
"I'm okay, I still want... to play..." he said zoning out as they heard growl like snores, which Constantine found funny but Piggy smiled because it was cute, knowing that an nap would do him good, because Deadly had been grumpy all day since he got here.
After a while, Deadly began to stir not realising he had taken an nap, feeling better making the others relieved, saying that he had taken an nap, surprising him, remembering they had been playing quite a rowdy game before he'd zoned out.
They were having fun, plus it was turning into a crazy game of tag, making Nanny chuckle, at their antics, knowing that Deadly did get grumpy a bit, so happy that the other kids had gotten him, to calm down or take an nap which was good for him.
