Summary: Chris and Piper never got enough bonding time on the show. That's why I'm writing the scenes in between each episode that we didn't see, starting from the Courtship of Wyatt's Father.

"What am I going to do?" asked Piper as reality sunk in.

"Maybe you ought to talk to Leo about it." Said Phoebe, countered by Paige's approving nod.

"No, I can't." replied Piper.

"Why not?" asked a confused Paige.

"Because, because I can't!" cried Piper.

Paige and Phoebe exchanged looks, not understanding but before they can ask Chris steps into the doorway.

"Is this a bad time...?

Piper turned and saw him for the first time as her son. She looked at him, frozen. Chris looked at her uncomfortably, as though expecting her to say something to reject him, to say that she didn't believe that he could be her son; that he was lying, that he was trying to get her to trust him.

Piper took him in for a beat and finally shook her head.

"It's alright, you don't have to believe them, I'll leave if you want me to." said Chris very quickly.

Piper kept on shaking her head, her face not betraying any of her emotions. She kept on looking at him as if frozen. All that she could think of was that this young man, this gorgeous young man, had just been conceived last night. She was pregnant. He was her son. Her SON. She didn't even notice that she started shaking her head in disbelief. If next to the word shock in the dictionary there was a picture, it would be that of Piper's face at that moment. She faintly registered that Chris' lips were moving. "He can already talk... He hasn't even been born yet and he can talk... he's my son. He came back to save his brother from turning evil... gosh, why didn't I see it before? Who else but family would be half-whitelighter, half-witch? Who else but a brother would sacrifice anything to go back in time and save Wyatt? Who else would act so comfortable around them from the moment he got back. How could she not have known her own son for a whole couple of months? What kind of mother was she? And what about the time she told him to leave, when he tried to tell her that Wyatt was the evil he came back to stop? She said horrible things to him, she felt horrible feelings towards him! How could he ever forgive her? Meanwhile, Paige and Phoebe were doing everything in their power to try to snap Piper out of the shock she'd slipped into. Chris had orbed out long ago, mumbling some excuse about a demon. They tried to stop him but to no avail and turned to Piper, who was still looking at the spot where Chris was standing moment ago and shaking her head hysterically.

A/N: Hehe, that was weird to write, 'cause I don't actually know how it works when people are in shock but I think that's pretty much it- feeling extreme emotions and thinking about a lot of things all at once, thus blocking out the rest of the world. Blah. Should I keep going? Please tell me in your reviews!
