Lost in Myself

Tracie has been lost for years. She is numb to all emotions thrown her way and she has little to no close friends. Rumors spread about of her abusive parents and ex-boyfriend who still follows her around without consent. But no one dares to get to know her, to get to know why she actually goes to school with new scars on her arms and bruises scattered on her skin like stars.

Have you ever felt lost? No... not like when you were lost in the woods on that stupid camping trip... like when you have friends and family around you and they have been trying to pull you out of this deep hole that you have been stuck in all your life... but you can get out. You start to turn away from them and you don't let them help you anymore. They call out to you and reach for your arms but you have slowly pulled away and your screaming... Screaming for help. But you are muffled and drowned out by others around you. So you stop asking for help. You just watch from the sidelines as those people who drowned you out, take your place. The silent pleads of people all around you. You can see it in their eyes, the flame that has been extinguished, but it's still very flammable. All it takes is a little spark and that fire will blaze.

All it takes is a spark to ignite a flame..
