Spencer Reid had walked into the break room. He saw a plate on the middle of the table with a cupcake on it. He figured that someone has brought them in for everyone to enjoy. He ate the cupcake and headed back to work.
Approximately ten minutes later Reid was sitting at his desk. JJ had just stormed into the bullpen. Her face was a crimson red. "WHO ATE MY CUPCAKE?" The entire bullpen went silent. JJ rounded on Emily, "Did you eat it? You KNEW it was mine. I told you it was MINE! I will claw your throat out with my bare hands if you ate it. I swear to god."
"N-n-n-no JJ. I… I didn't e-eat y-your c-c-c-cu-cupcake," Emily stammered while simultaneously covering her throat.
JJ turned around and got in Morgan's face, "Was it you Derek Morgan? Huh? Was it?"
"No Jayje, it wasn't me I swear."
"It was me," Reid whispered.
"What did you say Spencer?"
"I ate the cupcake. It was me." In a swift motion JJ was at Spencer's desk. Less than a second later JJ had him in the air by his throat. Emily and Morgan sprung into action to try and save their poor colleague. Morgan picked up the phone while Emily walked over to JJ.
"Jen put him down."
"I wanted that cupcake," JJ said through gritted teeth."
"I know, but you don't want to kill Spence right?"
"I kinda do actually."
"Jayje, you know that you don't want to."
"You're right, I should castrate the thief."
"J—"
"Steal something from him like he stole from me."
"Let's be reasonable now."
"Are you saying I'm being unreasonable?" JJ looked at Emily with malice in her eyes.
"Of course not JJ. " Morgan hung up the phone.
He looked at Emily and mouthed, "I've got it covered." Emily nodded and returned her full attention to JJ again.
"Please let's just take a moment to think about this Jayje."
"I have and… Will!" JJ saw her fiancé walk through the doors.
"Hey baby, I brought you more of the cupcakes I baked last night." JJ clapped and all but ran over to him. She snatched the cupcakes out of his hands and went back over to Emily. Will just chuckled and then headed out. "Come on Em. You're coming with me to my office to catch up and eat some of these cupcakes," JJ exclaimed happily. She grabbed Emily's arm and started to pull on it. Emily just smiled and followed. She liked overly happy JJ much better than angry homicidal JJ.
Reid and Morgan finally settled back at their desks. Morgan looked at Reid and asked, "Did you learn anything kid?"
"Yeah never take JJ's food, especially while she's pregnant."
Morgan nodded. A moment later Morgan goes, "Hey Reid imagine what would happen if you stole food from a pregnant Emily." Reid fainted.
