"Peyton, Peyton, you here?"Lucas yelled. Lucas just got back from
Charelston. Peyton ran out of her bathroom in a towel and jumped into
Lucas's arms. "Hey, this is a much better greeting then I thought I was
gonna get."
"Shut up, perv. I missed you so much, Lucas." Peyton said.
"I missed you, too, why else would I be back. Anyway, Peyton, I love you, and I know that you want to keep your newly healed friendship with Brooke, but I want you to know that I love you, I'm in love with you. I'll be here waiting if and when you feel you can be with me." Lucas said.
"Lucas, it's been a long and hard month without you, and I am ready to have an open relationship with you. Brooke doesn't care. Trust me. So, I'm gonna get a shower and then get dressed so feel free to talk to people on the internet." Peyton said. She kissed Lucas. "Unless of course you'd like to join me?" Peyton flashed him a devious smile. "I kinda have your uniform, letterman jacket, and warm-ups, so you can wear that."
"I like your second idea a lot better." Lucas said. Later on that day he found out his mom left and wasn't coming back. He found himself moving in with Larry and Peyton. "Thanks Larry."
"No problem, Lucas." Larry said. "I got a call guys, I'll be gone for a while. Take care of my baby girl Luke."
"Will do!" Lucas said. Larry left the next week. Haley was thrilled to have him back. Surprisingly, so was Nathan. School started the next week, so Whitey let him back on the team. Luke was saddened when he found Jake gone, but then Peyton told him what happened. She gave him Jake's number. He had called him and he tried to convine him to come back for the school year, but Jake said no, that was why everyone was particularly surprised to see him on the first day of school.
Unfortunately, Lucas and Nathan had a different lunch period then Peyton, Haley and Brooke. Brooke and Pey convinced Haley to join the cheer squad, so the year was different. Especially the Nathan and Lucas being best friends and brothers thing.
