"It's almost Christmas vacation, guys. Only 6 more days." James Potter said happily to his friends as they lounged outside on the Hogwarts Grounds. He was leaning against a tree, looking out on the lake, as were Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew. Remus Lupin was engrossed in a book, but still listening. "Ah, yes, did your math, Prongs?" Remus teased, grinning to his book. Sirius smiled at the joke as well, looking at James. "Are you going to stay here or go home for Christmas?" squeaked Peter. "Because I think I might go home, unless, of course, you have reasons otherwise? But I just love Christmas at home, with puddings, and cakes, and." He trailed off, looking wishfully into the lake.
"Yeah, my mum makes a wonderful roast for Christmas. Remember that one time you came and she made a roast, Padfoot? Well, it's better than that.." He grinned. "Oh, yeah. Roast." Sirius said vaguely, turning out towards the lake. Remus looked up at him from his book, but didn't voice his feeling that something was wrong. "Anyways, I think I'll stay here this Christmas. So, have you guys finished the homework in Transfiguration?" He asked, quickly changing the subject. "Er, Padfoot? Are you alr-" James started to say, cut off by Remus nudging him in the ribs. James turned to Remus, about to object when he saw Remus shake his head and mouth 'No.' Peter looked between the two curiously. "Well why stay at Hogwarts, Padfoot? Why not go home?" Peter asked, clueless to why he had changed the subject. "I just don't want to, alright?" Sirius shouted angrily, standing up. "It's none of your business. Maybe I just like Hogwarts better!" He continued. Remus stood up calmly, placing a hand on Sirius' shoulder. His reassuring look calmed Sirius down, although he was still fuming. "Want to talk?" Remus asked, eyebrows raised, in a voice that was calm, yet wouldn't take no for an answer. Sirius sighed, sitting back down as Remus pushed downwards on his shoulder. Peter and James moved closer, so as to listen better, and Remus sat next to Sirius, a comforting hand still resting upon his shoulder. "Alright, alright. There's a reason I don't want to go home for Christmas." Sirius began, avoiding eye contact with his three friends.

So that's the beginning. What do you think? I totally love Sirius, but I'm not one for your obsessed fans. Alright, I'm an obsessed Sirius fan, but not the kind you know, always "hugging ____ plushies" and all that stuff. I just like Sirius a lot, he's cool, and dare I admit it? A lot like me. =) So tell me what you think!!! And also check out my site, avidgamers.com/HogwartsPastRP
