There's a half-nervous brunet who's asks for the time because he doesn't know how else to start a conversation. Then there's a blonde who slams a locker door and growls something about an expensive watch saving the tall teenager from lowering himself to talking to dogs. There's a short but tense spat between the two that everyone's heard before and they just end up being ignored.

But then there's someone's long pale fingers buried in someone else's shaggy hair, and tan hands pressed against a black-cloaked chest and tongues interlacing and hot breaths melding together.

Suddenly, it doesn't matter anymore.
