"Ahhhh yes." Crooned Saruman the white. "It's good to see you again Gandalf."
Gandalf the Grey merely smiled in response as he tried to hide his nervous fidgeting. He didn't want his old friend to see how flustered with emotion he was at the reunion. He couldn't help but notice that his old friend had also been growing his beard out since their last… encounter.
The last time they had met had been many years ago and Saruman's hair and beard at the time had been barely long enough to braid. Now his head bore long, luscious, white locks nearly to his waist. Gandalf himself had grown his hair and beard about 3 inches in the many years they'd been apart.
Gandalf's mind began to wonder as he compared his somewhat messy hair to Saruman's pristine tresses. How many hours must he have spent magically straightening it? And here I am… showing up a mess and unprepared… will his hair feel like silk? Or will it be like air? My fingers slipping through so fast that I'll feel nothing at all…
Gandalf caught himself staring and blushed. Saruman seemed to read his thoughts and brought his hand up to Gandalf's cheek. Then he proceeded to brush the stray strands of grey from Gandalf's face.
"It's been too long my friend. I've missed this." Saruman allowed his fingers to slide downward through Gandalf's hair. "I've missed you."
Gandalf smiled "As we agreed Saruman. I wonder never miss… Would never…" He moved closer to Saruman and brought his hand up towards his friend's noble beard, fingers trembling slightly. Then hesitated just before touching them. "May I..?" inquired Gandalf.
"Yes… Please…" groaned Saruman "Stop teasing me. Grab my beard Gandalf!"
And Gandalf did.
They allowed themselves to glide onto the floor moving in close as Gandolf tugged and stroked Saruman's delicate facial hair, which felt like feathers and gave off the earthen scent of cedar. Gandalf could see Saruman's face beginning to flush as he sighed with contentment. Gandalf moved his other hand to latch onto the back of his friend's head.
"Ahhhhh!" moaned Gandalf. His hair surpassed all expectation! Light as air and somehow softer, more elegant and delectable than the beard he was gently tugging and caressing. Then Gandalf panted for air as he felt Saruman responding to his hair fondling.
Saruman firmly took ahold of Gandalf's beard and sighed and began to gentle tug at it. "Your hair is just as I remembered it old friend. It's nice to know some things never change, like your scrumptious shampoo." Saruman whispered, inhaling deeply.
Gandalf shuddered with pleasure. "Saruman?'
"Yes Gandalf..?"
"May I…" Gandalf paused briefly… Will Saruman be ready to take this to the next level? "May I… braid your hair?"
Saruman pulled back and looked deeply into Gandalf's eyes. Then he smiled, "I would like nothing better."
