Chapter 1:Bittersweet
Mercedes Jones always had a special place for Sam Evans. Coming back to Lima,Ohio and McKinely high was so bittersweet.
Bittersweet in a sense that her relationship with Sam was in an awkward place especially now that he's with Brittany. She had no issue with Brittany, Mercedes hated that her and Santana were over and all the troubles she suffered this year but was great to know that Sam was there for her.
Mercedes hasn't dated after landing in L.A. Only being focused on her work and talking to her friends but not Sam making her feel ashamed that she hadn't called him.
Arriving at the airport where Kurt, Santana and Mike were their waiting at the terminal. Driving back to Lima as she remembers her surroundings as she drove by Breadstix.
"So how's it's like in L.A?" asked Kurt
"It's great" Mercedes said hesitant to tell anyone the problems she faced being in L.A but Kurt asked if she went to Rodeo Drive or met any celebrities? Answering the questions with a simple answer. No she hadn't went to Rodeo Drive and gone shopping and no she hadn't bumped into any celebrities but got caught in the conversations of what Kurt, Santana and Mike were doing after high school. As they check into a hotel before heading to McKinely.
Going back to McKinely and the Glee club where she met and fell in love with Sam Evans would be very bittersweet. Bittersweet in a sense that Sam Evans would be there to capture her heart.
