Hey everyone. This is a poem I wrote for an Escaflowne contest sometime last year. I just found it again and decided to post it. It's Hitomi's thoughts on Van after she comes back from Gaea. I wrote it for the movie but it could be for the series too I guess. Please read and review! Thank you!

Memories

Oh Van, I wish I could see you now.

There are so many things I have to say.

I wanted more time with you,

even if it was only a day.

You dominate my thoughts.

I think about you 24/7.

My saviour, my angel,

my own piece of Heaven.

You awaken emotions in me:

love, hate, happiness, and lust.

When I went to Gaea

you were the only one I could trust.

When I was just a hollow shell,

waiting and hoping to die,

you gave me my white wings

and taught me how to fly.

I am so grateful to you,

more than you'll ever know.

I wanted to stay,

but we both knew I had to go.

But, I am happy.

At least we had some time together.

Like I said that day,

we'll be together forever.
