For those of you who have read my other fics (this is totally unrelated btw) yes I do like Irvine… I don't really like Rinoa or Quistis.

Now, on with the story………………

Rinoa and Squall are on vacation at a cliff house overlooking the ocean. They're working on their fourth bottle of wine and watching the sunset. After the turned crimson and the last sliver of light was gone, they stood up.

"Show me how you do that trick!" she squealed.

"What trick?"

"The one that makes me laugh" she said as she put her arms around his neck.

"If you show me, I promise you we can run away and never come back"

He kissed the top of her head and started working his way down.

He stopped as his boom box started playing his favorite song

Squall grabbed Rinoa's waist and they started dancing around in circles. Spinning faster and faster.

The sun shone warm on Squalls face. He grabbed his head. Hangover. He reached for Rinoa.

"Rin?"

Nothing but dew covered grass. He opened his eyes. He couldn't remember what happened the night before. He crawled to the edge of the cliff and looked down. At the base, in the waves he saw one of her boots and a piece of her knitted sweater…vest …dress thing.

"Whatever" he said as he got up dusted himself off and walked back to garden.
