It was the first time she'd been in a club, the lights were bright, and the music loud, quick and pounding. It made her heart beat faster, eyes grow heavy, and her hips sway. She didn't complain when Minako pulled her out on the dance floor.
Together, they were a blur of color. Black and gold, red and yellow. A swirl of color, mixing and merging, bumping and swaying amidst a crowd of varying colors, and twisting bodies.
Energy and life moved all around them. Hot and scorching like the flames she commanded, a willing force that didn't ask or demand.
Feeling freer then she had in a long, long time, Rei let her head fall back, eyes closed, hair swaying with her body in an inky curtain. Fingers entwined with Minako's, their arms in the air, bodies pressed close. Smiles stretching both of their mouths into bright and dazzling grins.
It was nice to let loose, every now and again.
