"Well, Edward. I missed you so much and when I was doing something stupid or reckless or dangerous I could. Well, I could hear your voice more clearly," I explained, waiting for him to say something, anything really. The pained expression on his face was torturing me.

"Bella, you were risking you life to hear my voice?" he started slowly.

I nodded, "I...well...yea."

The look on Edward's face was really indescribable. He looked so sad, mixed with probably annoyance and anger- mostly directed at him. But I could see that the fact that I had wanted to just hear his voice so much meant something to him even though he hated the fact that I had been so reckless.

"How could you risk your life like that Bella? What were you thinking? You should have moved on and had a normal human life. You shouldn't have wasted your time over a monster like me," he sighed, "But I'm happy that you stopped me in Voltera. I am far too selfish Bella. I may never be able to let you be away from me again, love."

"Don't you know already?" I asked softly, "That's all I ever wanted."

The look in his brilliant, topaz eyes were stunning. The happiness and love that was literally visible in his look was overpowering.

"I love you Bella, with my entire existence," he sighed, breathing in my floral scent.

"I love you too Edward, more than you'll ever know," I said simply.

"That's a bit hard Bella," Edward grinned, "Because I love you more than anything else in the world. More then my entire existence."

"Are we going to stand here fighting about this all day? Or are you going to kiss me already before Alice comes out here and tackles me and tries to make me go shopping?" I laughed.

"Alright. Then let's call it a tie," he whispered as he leaned down and kissed me softly on the lips.

All to soon he pulled away and smiled at me, "I think we better save this for later. Alice is screaming at me in her thoughts to get you inside before she comes and drags you in there herself."

"Typical Alice," I laughed, kissing him firmly on the lips.

Just as we started to deepen the kiss I heard a door slam.

"EDWARD CULLEN! GET OFF OF MY BEST FRIEND THIS INSTANT! I WANT TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER TOO! I HAVEN'T SPENT REAL TIME WITH HER FOR MONTHS AND IT WAS YOUR FAULT SO THERE IS NO WAY YOU GET TO HOG HER NOW!" Alice screamed at us.

Edward just laughed and continued kissing me.

"AND YOU! ISABELLA MARIE SWAN! GET YOUR BUT IN HERE THIS INSTANT! HAVEN'T YOU MISSED YOUR SISTER?!" Alice directed her tantrum at me this time.

Knowing not to mess with her when she was mad, I broke away from Edward and turned to go inside with Alice. Edward grabbed my hand and swung me up into his arms, bridal style.

"Just because Alice throws a fit, doesn't mean you have to go with her instead of me you know," he smiled.

"Well, Edward. I have missed my sister and the whole family, even Rosalie. So if you don't mind I think we have some catching up to do."

He looked disappointed so I whispered, "Don't worry. We can have our fun later."

With that I winked and jumped out of his marble arms and went to join Alice. She grabbed me and immediately started telling me about all of the clothes that she was going to show me. I sighed and grinned. Some things really do never change.
