Yamamoto likes playing Go. His vice captain has always been dragged along.

Soi Fon has no particular likes. She thinks playing games are useless. But she fakes her love for the Sugoroku (It's a game similar to western backgammon) because it was a present from Shihouin Yourichi.

Omaeda likes Monopoly. He adores the fresh, crisp, (and fake) banknotes in it. He drools whenever he sees them and has an unbelievable collection of monopoly game set that were brought from the human world.

Kira sucks at playing such things. So he will never touch them except for some certain occasions.

No one ever dares to challenge Unohana since her first game of Xiangqi (像棋,Chinese chess). It it not because she defeats the opponent easily but because she loses easily. The (scary)smile after she lost sent a clear message to them: "I will chop you into pieces if you ever beat me again."

Her vice captain, Isane avoids using the phrases "board game". She knows what her fate wouldl become if she ever were to do so.

Hinamori Momo knows all the rules of board games. She has a book about it which she read from cover to cover.

Byakuya likes a peaceful game of Shogi (Japanese chess). It had once been the favorite pastime of his wife. Before Hisana passed away, the couple would play the game under the cherry blossoms every spring morning.

Renji, Iba, Shuhei, Shunsui, Matsumoto, Kenpachi, Ikakku and Yumichika like playing card games with their drinking buddies.

Sajin, who is wallowing in canine related objects, likes Hare and Hounds (European game).

Nanao had once borrowed a book about the rules of the board games from her reading partner, Momo. She wanted to know why her captain likes playing cards so much.

Yachiru likes playing Candy Land.

There are three main reasons:

1)She likes the colorful illustrations

2)She is obsessed with sugar confectioneries

3)She can't count and the game didn't involve hard sums

Hitsugaya enjoys a game of backgammon. It helps him to think.

Mayuri isn't interested in "the simpleminded conceptions" and therefore takes no notice of it.

Nemu on the other hand likes Senet (An Egyptian board game). She finds Egyptology and the history of the ancient Nile Valley civilizations to be intriguing.

Ukitake has a bad impression of card games. It began when Kyoraku invited him to a game of Hearts. Shunsui convinced his friend by saying that playing a relaxing game could lighten his mood, and therefore would help him recover from his sickness. However, the naked ladies that were imprinted on the cards made Ukitake sicker than ever.

Rukia likes ludo because it is easy to play.
