Two Sides
I would like to dedicate these poems to everyone that I care for, because I know they won't be around forever so here are my poems based on Shadow Link. I hope you like them.
The rain falls as I stand in the middle of the storm,
The only thing I can hear are the raindrop's sorrow and sadness echoing.
I stare at my reflection and see only a different side of me,
His eyes are serene, his face smiling and his hopes aren't shattered like mine are.
I turn away as my broken dreams cut me with every memory my other half had shared,
Each are good but yet they remind me that I'm not Link… I'm a creation.
I wasn't born from a mother like he was,
I was created from thin air and every pinch of darkness that Ganon could get to.
Two sides,
That was the only thing Link and I had in common.
We're two sides of a whole,
He's the savoir of Hyrule while I'm just the little boy, hiding from his misery to escape the fact that this is what I am.
He's still young I can see why his dreams aren't destroyed,
But why are mine?
