Ok. This is my first ever fanfiction. Please, please enjoy!

If I get 20 reviews.. I will write another story. -WARNING: MAJOR FLUFF and MAKAxSOUL

DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own SOUL EATER in any way. (although I wish I did)

Soul was in the middle of the doorway, leaning against its frame. The room smelled like hospital and. . . babies.

He sighed, replaying the last seven years in his head. The final battle had been hard, Shibusen's forces had been depleted, and they almost hadn't made it. Maka had nearly lost it when he collapsed. But they made it, and they had each other. The kishin that had tried to consume the world in madness was dead and gone.

After that encounter they finished school, and fell in love. They dated for roughly seven months. The love they had for each other led them to be married, very deeply in love. Then, well, you know the song. . . "First comes love, then comes marriage, then come the baby in the baby carriage.". . . They decided that it was time for a child, and now here they were.

Returning to the present day, Soul smiled as his beautiful wife emerged from behind a curtain placed as a make-shift door that Soul had broken down earlier, with a tiny white haired boy in her arms. He was small, and his hair jutted out in the same manner that his did. His eyes however were deep green, like a springtime forest.

Maka placed the little newborn in his arms and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"He has your hair," she remarked as she leaned into him.

"But he has your eyes," he answered gazing softly down at his son.

The infant let out a small cry as he opened his eyes and waved his tiny fists into the air.

Soul smiled. He had waited for this since he had found out that Maka was pregnant. Returning his gaze to his beautiful wife, he noticed she was dozing and that she was extremely exhausted.

"You should get some rest," he told her with concern.

"Mmhh. . . Not yet," she replied, "I want to be with you a little longer."

Soul maneuvered himself and Maka over to a soft, long, couch and handed her they baby. He then laid down while leaving room for her to cuddle and let their son lie on his chest.

His thoughts meandered to the future and the things it had in store for the family, but his mind was brought back to attention by the soft cooing of the mini him.

Soul was happy, content with Maka and this new, young life with white hair and green eyes, and relieved that nothing had gone wrong in labor.

"I love you," Maka whispered into his ear.

He smiled. She was happy too, and that was all that mattered.

"I love you too," he returned lovingly, "and I always will."
