The blood stained her lips and chin as she smiled. " know I look awful... I'm sorry you have to see this."
He simply shook his head and wiped her face. "You're beautiful no matter what."
Tears were brought to her eyes as the words echoed through her ears, she would have given anything to keep that moment. To not have another round of hell waiting for her, to finally feel better like the doctors told her she would. "I don't wanna leave you.."
He had tears in his eyes as well. He knew their time was short. He wanted her for the rest of his life, he wanted to see them grow together to better one another as age kept time moving. He leaned his forehead against hers the tears falling from his eyes to rest on her cheeks. "No matter what happens, I will always have you with me... I will always love you..."
He watched her eyes being to close, she smiled through the pain that he knew she was feeling and took hold of his hand. "I love you... with all of my heart..."
Her breathing was a bit labored as she slipped into sleeps arms. He stayed wither for a while longer. When he got ready to leave he kissed her softly and asked that she hold on till morning so he could see her smile once more...
