CHEWING GUM
Pop.
Lily Evans groaned inwardly, she was never going to get any work done with Potter chewing gum like that.
POP.
No that wasn't just chewing, that was infuriating Popping!
POP.
"Will you just SHUT UP!" Lily roared, spinning around to meet James Potter and his little band of friend.
"Evans!" James cried joyfully, walking across the room to take a seat next to her.
"What are you doing?" Lily said though clenched teeth, as she tried to no avail to move away from James.
"Well I just thought that I would come over, face-to-face, to have a lovely conversation." James said while smiling, and glancing back to his friends who were sniggering as this little scene played out.
"Well can you just STOP that constant Popping?" Lily said as evenly as possible, considering James kept on inching closer.
"Okay my flower." James said as he got up and moved away, back to his friends.
'Wow,' Lily thought, 'Did he just agre-'
POP!
"That's it!" Lily said walking up to James and his friends.
"What is it my pet?" James replied as innocently as possible.
"You know!" She said dangerously.
"Now Lily there is no need to take out your vile temper on us, there are some classes that can help you with your prob-" Sirius started.
"I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM BLACK!" Lily roared, capturing the attention of the common room.
"It's okay my pet, now if you would just agree to be my girlfriend, I could get you some lovely help." James said.
"You… I… UH!" Lily was at a loss for words, and her already crimson face went a shade darker to match her red hair.
"Is that a yes?" James coaxed.
"I would NEVER say yes to a… a… a…"
"A boy as arrogant, idiotic, ignorant, as James?" Sirius helped.
"YES!" Lily agreed.
"Really? You are finally giving into the 'Potter charm'?" James said amused.
"What? NO! Leave, just-leave." Lily said quietly.
"What?" James said.
"LEAVE!"
"Hm… sorry Lilykins. No-can-do! But you are free to go." James said smirking.
"I…FINE!" Lily roared, and just as she was leaving the common room she heard one last annoying, pop.
