God of War - Aftermath

Disclaimer: I do not own the God of War series.

These events take place after God of War III. After Kratos' failed suicide attempt, he dragged himself to a nearby rock. He dragged himself, looking

in the the distance he saw Athena. He realized that now he could return to Elysium to be with his beloved daughter, Calliope. As he traversed

through the lands, there was no one. He wondered if they were all dead. As Kratos was at the gates of Elysium, Athena approached him and said,

"Kratos, I know that which you seek... Elysium, but you have unforgivable sins. Only those who are pure may enter. Nothing and no one can purify

a god killer. Your daughter is lost forever." But Kratos already had a plan, as the rage in Kratos subsided, he knew the gods had always been right.

He would always suffer for killing them. He knows that by his own actions, Zeus became corrupt. To erase his families fate, he would have to find

the Palace of the Fates once more. As he entered the palace, he noticed everything was just as he left it. As he journeyed to the loom of fate, he

went back in time to retrieve his brother Deimos. He trained him to become a true Spartan warrior. As the years went by, Kratos and Deimos

became anxious to change the future. By the time Deimos was 18, they went back in time to when Kratos obtained Pandora's Box for the first time.

Kratos and Deimos told the past Kratos that they would defeat Ares if he would not open the box. The three agreed, they charged at Ares. The three

Spartans defeated the god of war easily. Deimos delivered the final blow, he would now be known as the new god of war. He befriended Hades and

the other Olympians, he also gained their trust. He requested for the to return Calliope and Lysandra to the living world. Hades was reluctant to give

such a gift to the man who had slain his wife, Persephony, but he knew Kratos had to kill her for trying to destroy Mount Olympus. Hades sent

Kratos' family back to the living but Kratos never returned to the present. He chose to stay with his family and Kratos from the past. In secret

Deimos and Kratos made plans just in case the gods betrayed them. But since Pandora's Box was never opened, the evils inside were never

released. The titans were of little concern at this time because they were in the deepest depths of hades.
