FIREFLY DRINKING GAME!

Firefly is a wonderful, wonderful TV show (and I'm not just saying that because the snarky captain Mal is hot—though he is) that was so UNJUSTLY cancelled (BOO) but did (miraculously) spawn an equally wonderful movie Serenity (go see it!).

And so, in my twisted sense of affection, I decided to make fun of it. Teasing is a sign of affection too, you know. Plus, I'd like to think that Joss Whedon (who, unlike me, owns the show, the other characters, the plot, the whole DAMN FIREFLY UNIVERSE) would have the sense of humor to appreciate this, even though I'm doing it without his permission.

Just as with RKars, other suggestions are welcome. .

Anyway, onward to the valleys of immensely entertaining intoxication!

Take 1 DRINK if:

Mal gets shot/tortured/stabbed/etc

Jayne is insubordinate

Jayne is hurt

Inara kisses someone

Someone is shown with their shirt off

River mutters something cryptic

There's a double-cross

Technical/medical jargon is spouted

That weird pseudo-Chinese is said

Inara has a client

Inara is shown in a state of undress

There is unresolved sexual tension

River has an episode

Simon is a drug dealer (is it just me, or does he pump people full of drugs a lot?)

The Alliance people remind you of Star Trek, minus Patrick Stewart and in spiffy blue/purple suits instead of red

Book does his "moral compass" thing

The villain (antagonist) has an accent

Simon is appalled

Simon is punched

That shot of Serenity flying off with rear-end all aglow (you'll know it when you see it) is shown

Take 2 DRINKS if

Sexual tension is resolved (or someone at least has sex)

Mal isn't wearing suspenders

Simon isn't wearing a vest

Simon is scruffy! (not clean, immaculate doctor dude)

An episode goes by and no one is killed (not even the nameless flunkies)

Unification/Browncoats is mentioned

Reavers are mentioned/appear

A job is successful

You wonder how Wash's dinos manage to stay up on that console—even though everything and everyone else is being tossed around as Wash does his mad flying skillz thing (superglue?)

You wonder why is it that even though there are so many shots of the crew eating, we never see the ship's bathroom

Suggested

Bonus drinks if the evildoers are wearing hats

Kaylee's flirting

Jayne sniffs something
