Now that it had been 21 years since they came back from Storybrooke, Robin and Regina were king and queen.
14 years ago, Regina gave birth to Riley, their firstborn.
"Riley!" Johanna called.
"It is so early!" She answered.
"Where are your parents?"
"Probably in their secret place."
"And where might that be?"
"It wouldn't be a secret if I told you."
Johanna rolled her eyes and left the room to clean.
Way out in a back alley tavern, Robin and Regina were there drinking their beer.
Every month on the 19th, they sneak out of the castle to get away from all the royal responsibilities. It was fun for them, sneaking around the castle, finding a corner to hide in if someone was walking down the hall. They even told Riley they had a secret spot, but they never told her where it was.
They go out to the woods even occasionally, and Robin would show her how to use a bow. When she became good, they went out hunting together.
This time they stayed out all night. They had to return early so that Riley wouldn't start asking questions.
She woke Riley up at 8:00AM for her violin lessons with Natalie, her teacher.
While very guard and maid in the castle was busy, they snuck out to the garden to have some alone time.
"What are we doing tomorrow? Riley is staying with Snow to learn how to sew."
"We could go to the tavern, or hunt." She answered.
Hunting it is.
She shot an arrow, and hit a deer right in the nose.
They saw Charming kissing someone, but not Snow. It was Red. They went back to the castle, to find Snow.
When they told her, she started going everywhere with him. One day he said he needed to go to the market.
Robin and Regina were at the tavern when Red and Charming came.
She called Snow and she came. When Charming saw her, she ran off.
Charming was sitting there, speechless.
He ran after her, and heard the words he thought he would never hear.
"We're over."
She disappeared into the woods, and he couldn't find her.
He stayed in their room, while Snow slept in a different room.
To him, it felt like he lost everything he ever knew.
He ended it with Red right when they split up.
A few weeks later, they made up with theropy from Jiminy.
Robin and Regina went back to the normal routine.
So did everyone else.
