Amy and Rory made their way to their room in the TARDIS after a long day of time travelling.

"Well, that was quite a day." Rory stated

He'd expected Amy to reply, or at least smile, but instead all she did was literally stare out into space.

"Amy?" Rory tried

"Amy!" He yelled

"What? Huh, what did you say?" She asked, clearly befuddled

"What was that?" Rory questioned

"Oh, I was just thinking." She replied

"Thinking about what?"

It took Amy a little while to respond to that.

"Just... um... well, what would have happened if we had never met the Doctor?"

"Well..." Rory tried to think of the right thing to say "Melody would still be a baby, we would have gotten married a lot earlier, you're life still wouldn't make much sense and we would have missed out on a lot of adventure."

"And a lot of danger." Amy added

"Well, sure but you might have never told me you love me and we would have never gone to Venice..." Rory said

"True..." Amy still didn't sound convinced

"And most importantly..." Rory began "You would have never had that heart-felt moment when you realized you love me more than any man in all of time and space." He smirked as she playfully pushed him.

At that moment, Amy knew... she had made the right choice.
