Six months. That´s the amount of time that has passed since my life and of those of my family changed completely. Six months after my sister´s death. Six months after the confrontation with the Volturi. Six months since I met him.
I had absolutely no idea how much my life would change when we decided to aide the Cullens. Those weeks I spent in Forks were a few of the best ones in my entire existence despite everything that was going on around us. And all because of him. Garrett. The amazing nomad I fell deeply in love with even though the moment wasn´t the most appropriate.
For those weeks we spent almost every waking moment together which is a lot when you don´t sleep. For once in my more than a thousand years I felt truly happy despite the huge problem we had with the Volturi. And now here we are. In Alaska together ever since that day. He truly meant it when he said he would follow me anywhere.
Every day that goes by I can´t help but fall in love with him even more if that´s even possible. Him. Garrett. My mate.
Ignoring the cold Alaskan air entering our room through the open window, I curl up closer to him and caress his cheek while his amber eyes gaze into mine endlessly.
I´m so glad I met you.
He smiles. That particular smile that I know is only there for me.
