Quiet Love

Kazane hid in the shadows waiting for her target to appear. It was midnight and everything was silent. A middle age man appeared out of the building, scanning the area cautiously making sure that no one was after him. Little did he know that there was a woman hiding in shadows. Before the man could take another step, Kazane darted out of the shadows and with a quick motion slit his throat, killing him. She quietly dragged his body out of site. Kazane started her journey home back to the village, taking the body with her.
After hours of traveling, Kazane finally arrived at the Leaf village gates and smiled as she passed through the gates. "Home sweet home," She said behind her mask. As she headed toward the hokage's office, some villagers stared, others dipped their heads in respect when she passed by. Why would they do that? Well it's not everyday where you see a ANBU ninja and especially when the ninja just appears and causally walks toward the hokage's office.
Kazane stood outside of the hokage's office not knowing what to do. The ANBU had been just given the rest of the day off.
"Good job, Kazane. Another mission completed," The hokage, Tsunade said.
Kazane nodded though she didn't say anything for she was gazing out the window.
Tsunade took notice and looked up from her paperwork. "Thinking about a certain someone aren't you?" The woman blushed but thankfully her mask was able to cover it. "I don't know what you're talking about," She mumbled.
Tsunade chuckled. "Of course not," Tsunade said. The hokage knew full well that she was thinking about a certain someone. "I have nothing else for you right now, the rest of the day is yours. You are dismissed." Kazane nodded and left the office.
She let out a sigh and decided to go visit the memorial stone, she was sure that the certain man would take notice that she was back and find her.
A silver haired man stood aside at the streets, looking for a particular woman. After a moment having spotted the ANBU masked woman, he smiled and followed her.
Kazane laid the flowers that she had bought earlier in front of the memorial stone . She bowed her head to give a silent prayer. As she finished her prayer, a pair of arms wrapped around her. Without even looking, she already knew who it was.
"Kakashi,"
"Kazane," Kakashi responded. "Your back early,"
"It was a easy mission," She mumbled as she turned around and laid her head on his chest.
There was silence as they both relaxed in each others presence.
"I love you," Kakashi quietly said.
The woman smiled.
"I love you too," She whispered as they both kissed having took off their mask earlier.
Yes, Kakashi loved her. Though he wasn't like the other people, saying it romantically or loudly claiming it.
It was still love, a quiet love.
