Happy Happy Happy Birthday Elric

A/N: Sorry I haven't posted in a long while. I got hit by Hurricane Ike and have been basically living at friends' houses and a courtroom. I wrote this back in June for my good friend Elric's birthday. I just wanted to post something, so here it is. No, it's not perfect and it's pretty different from everything else I write. Yes, there are implications of further action between our friends Ed and Roy. No, I don't write it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Disclaimer: I can't own them, but I can pretend. :D

Let it Flow

Edward dropped another box down on the new hard wood floor, earning another displeased look from Roy. He simply smiled and walked back into the hallway to get another box which would also be dropped much to Roy's disapproval. He could honestly care less. After all, he hadn't volunteered to help Colonel bastard move into his new dorm. He hadn't gotten Mustang's transfer to Central finalized. And he sure as hell hadn't planned on wasting his Saturday at his superior's house.

"Bring that last one in and we can take a break." Roy was standing in front of a rather small shelf, taking a few books at a time from a box and setting them on the shelf.

Ed dropped the last box down and kicked the door shut, before plopping down on the couch.

"You know, this is a new apartment and I'd like for it to look like it too. You could be more gentle."

"You know," Ed started mockingly "I could be at home doing something more fulfilling with my time. How do you have so much shit anyway?"

Mustang, quite used to the blonde's complaining just rolled his eyes. "Watch your language, kid."

He tossed the now empty book box into the corner and took a seat in the chair across from Ed. The younger's normal coat and attire had been replaced with black pants and a plain white t-shirt that was almost too tight on him. God, Roy thought, does he even know? Ed's usual braid had been replaced by a simple pony tail. And the older man couldn't help but to stare at the beauty in front of him.

After a minute Ed noticed Roy's stare. "What the hell are you staring at?"

"You."

"What…?!"

"Take your hair down."

"Again, I repeat myself. What?!"

Roy smirked a little. "I said take your hair down."

Edward blushed a little. "N-no. I don't want to."

"Oh come on Ed, you never take your hair down." Roy almost begged the boy.

"But, I don't like it down." He whined back.

"Too bad," Roy wasn't gonna lose this one. On occasions, he would let Ed win their meaningless arguments, but this was different. "Take it down."

"No. You can't order me around outside of work! I don't like my hair down and I'm not taking—" Roy put a hand over Roy's mouth, pushing him to lay flat on the couch so that Roy was completely on top of him.

"I guess I'll have to do it for you." He said reaching a hand behind Ed's head and pulling the hair tie out. He slipped the black elastic around his wrist. "You know, you look absolutely beautiful." Roy said admiring the golden waves of hair.

Ed smiled, feeling very pleased with himself, and leaned his head up to kiss the older man, wrapping his hands around the back of Roy's neck. Then slowly reaching around to unbutton the other man's shirt.

Roy in return ran his hands down the boy's sides, hesitating only a minute when he got to Ed's belt before quickly undoing it.

Reviews are love. Thanks. :D
