Summary- A Little Luke and Lorelai one shot, Luke proposes.
(A/N- I was bored and the idea just popped into my head REVEIW!)
"Hey, let's go sit down." Luke said as they wandered over to the bridge (Yes, the famous bridge that Luke pushed Jess off in Nick and Nora/Sid and Nancy.)
"This is nice" Lorelai said her voice sounded content as Lorelai lay in his arms.
"Hey, I, uh, wanted to give you this." Luke said reaching into his coat pocket and pulling out a ring. "It was my mothers." Luke said his voice covered in emotion.
Lorelai sat there staring at the ring in his palm it was beautiful. "It's...Wow...it's beautiful, Luke." she said her hand going up to her mouth as she gasped. She went to take it but Luke took it away. She looked at him confused.
"You know that if you want the ring you have to do two things, two very serious things." Luke said.
"Things? What things?"
"Well for starters you have to wear the ring on this finger," Luke said as he took her left hand and her third finger. She gasped as Luke slid the ring onto her finger, looking at her the whole time. He took his other hand to cover her mouth so she wouldn't ruin the moment.
"The other thing is you have to allow me to marry you." He said and he removed his hand from her mouth to let her speak.
"Luke," she said staring at him in awe. Staring at him then back to the ring then back to him. She had tears coming down her cheeks as he wiped them away.
"So...What do you say?" Luke asked
"Of course!" She said throwing herself into his arms and kissing him. She lifted her head about a half inch from her face and murmured softly "You are such a romantic Mr. Danes no matter what you say." And kissed him again to show that it was real this time, she wouldn't run away like her other engagement.
