Okay I have to admit that I have read the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, all of them. But I have kinda forgotten about them and have started them again. So please not that This is before battle of the labyrinth!

Enjoy!

A girl was perched up on the top of Zeus' Fist, when Percy Jackson strode into the camp on his first week back that summer. Her legs were tucked up under her, and she was pouring over a large book that was teetering preciously on her knees, while she wrote frantically in a note book. Like all half-bloods, she was wearing the bright orange shirt that was required. But as he got closer, he realized that it wasn't a shirt, in fact it was a dress. From various pictures that his mother liked, Percy knew that the style was fiftyish. Her dark brown hair was tucked up in an orange bandana to keep her bangs from her face.

Percy watched as a stray arrow from the archers passed close over her head. She ducked quickly, without taking her eyes off of her book or stopping her writing. The movement caused the book to tumble from her legs and falls to the ground. She looked up and glared at the archer.

"Sorry, Clem!" He yelled. All got in return was a softer glare before she was scampering down the rocks. Percy hurried over to the book and picked it up off of the ground, dusting it off. A patter of hurried footsteps stopped in front of him.

"Can I have my book back?" The girl asked, in a voice that suggested that she didn't talk much. Percy looked up from the book but misjudged the height of the girl and looked back down. Her face was clouded in anger but Percy also noticed small undertones of worry in her light eyes. He found her eyes intriguing because although they were not blue or green, they had depth. There were little flashes of gold flecks mixed in too. A pert nose rested above a rosebud mouth that was curved in a pout. She held out her hand imperiously. "My book?"

Percy glanced at the book. He was surprised to see that the title was in English, or so he hoped or his ability to read ancient Greek was failing. "What is this about?"

She narrowed her eyes, before answering, "It is about Greek stories of the Gods."

"Why is it so large?"

She laughed, "One, there are a lot of stories, and two, it has the direct translations, the greek versions, and the story translations."

Percy stared at her, "The English translation?" She nodded, "How can you read that? Aren't all half-bloods dyslexic?"

"Most, but there are a few that aren't, from select parents. Unfortunately, those parents don't usually have half-blood children." With that she turned around, and scampered back up the rocks.

"Wait!" He yelled, hurrying up after her.

What do you think? If someone reviews I will continue.
