Hey, my first one-shot story. I hope everyone likes it.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters or concepts from Doctor Who. I wish lol x

This is set after the Nightmare in Silver, after the Doctor drops Clara and the children back home.

One of these Wednesdays…impossible girl. A mystery wrapped in an enigma squeezed into a skirt that's just a little bit too tight. Oh yeah. What are you?

He walks back to set the controllers for the Wednesday after, not wanting to wait for another adventure with Clara.

For Clara it had been a whole week of thinking over the words the cyber planner had said…

"Clara, I suppose I'm the only one who knows how I feel about you right now. How funny you are. So funny. And pretty. And the truth is, I'm starting to like you in a way that is more than just-"

Did the doctor know what the cyber planner said to her? Did he really feel that way? Or was it just the cyber planner? She needed to know. So next time she saw him, she vowed to ask.

Before she knew it, it was Wednesday. She got up and dressed into blue flower dress. She headed downstairs to get a cup of coffee. Artie had already gone school; the house was empty. She went to sit on the sofa, drinking her coffee, waiting for the Doctor to show up.

She had just put her cup in the sink when she heard the noise. It was the TARDIS. She knew he would be waiting for her there.

Clara grabbed her coat and walked out the door. It was finally time. She had thought as to what it was was she would say to him. She wanted to know if he felt the same way as her. If he cared for her more than a friend.

She walked into the TARDIS.

"Hey Doctor!" she said, smiling at him. He walked up to her and hugged her. She hugged him back, laughing.

"Hey, Clara." He said after pulling away from her.

"So Clara, where would you like to go today? We can go anywhere." He said whilst running around the controls pressing lots of different buttons.

When Clara didn't say anything he turned around and faced her. He knew something was wrong.

"Clara what's wrong?"

"Doctor before we go anywhere…can I ask you something?" she questioned, not looking into his eyes.

"Yeah, sure. You can ask me anything."

He went to stand next to her, making her look him in the eyes. She was nervous and scared and excited at the same time when she thought of what he might say.

"When we were at Hedgewick's World of Wonders and the cyber planner was in your mind…Did you know what he said to me?"

He knew what Clara was asking. He knew what the cyber planner had said to her. The problem was she just didn't know if what the cyber planner had said to her was true. He loved her; he just didn't know she felt the same.

He knew he had to tell the truth, he didn't like to hide stuff from her. He wanted to know if she loved him the same way he loved her.

He held her hand and knew it was time to tell the truth. He looked into her eyes and smiled at her and told her, "Yes, I do."

She smiled at him and asked him the next question she needed to know the answer to.

"What the cyber planner said Doctor; do you feel that way about me?"

"Yes, I do Clara. I think you're beautiful, smart and funny. And I care about you a lot." He said looking at her. He kissed her hand and then her forehead.

"I care about you too" Clara replied.

He put his arm around her waist and pulled her to him. He kissed the side of mouth, and then he kissed her lips. It was a slow, gentle kiss. Then he pulled away and put his head against her.

"I love you Clara." He whispered.

"I love you too." She said as she pulled him into a passionate, long kiss.
