The fire crackled slowly in the winter wind, it danced as the freezing wind wiped furiously round my blue face. It made you take two glances at what was surrounding you as everything didn't seem to be in normal order but morphed into swirls and patterns that made your eyes dance along the curious place that I had been most familiar with moments ago. Even though I was wrapped within an inch of my life I could still feel force of the wind it was almost pushing me out of the protection of the wild old oak and into the darkness. A crack echoed through the field making me turn sharply to point to the direction that the fearful sound came from; I began to slip on the crystallized snow blanket that had fell for many nights now, and then it hit me a great gust of wind that engulfed me into it's arms pushing me towards that silly old rabbit hole that looked bigger than I remembered it, it began to widen and the earth shock it was almost like it was opening its wide jaws to swallow me. As I sunk further and further down the hole the light of the fire went out and as it did the darkness swooped in closing out all the light from the world I knew, I began tumbling further and further down into the unknown!
