(A/N: hello people of the universe! Im back and actually writing again! Im sorry this chapter is so short, I haven't written in so long! For those of you who are wondering, I probably wont be continuing my skys sis fanfic. I just don't really have the time for it now that I have a youtube channel and stuff now (link to my channel on my profile page) theres an OC form at the end of the chapter! so with that being said… TO THE STORY!)

I woke to the smell of smoke and the sound of screaming.

My name is Freesia. Well, my given name is dragonflyzMC, but nobody ever calls me that. I am 13 years old and I have just-past-shoulder length orangey brown hair that half covers my eyes, which are green. I wear blue glasses and headphones with two shades of turquoise, like my shirt, which has a creeper face on it. I wear light blue shorts and brown knee-high boots.

I live in a small village, where everyone knows everyone, and there are barely any conflicts. I couldn't imagine what had caused the fire, other than some of the kids messing around with a flint and steel. It had happened before, but it had never been nearly as bad as this…

I leapt out of my burning sheets and ran outside to see if I could help put out the fires, when I was thrown back by a huge explosion! Definitely not the kids then.

Even though it was nighttime, the sky glowed a bright orange as the light from the flames lit up the smoke, which covered the sky. There was panic, chaos and confusion everywhere I looked, and I tried to stay calm as possible while trying to figure out what was going on.

I noticed a cloaked figure lurking in the shadows, so I decided to follow it and see where it leads me. It walked off into the forest, down a narrow pathway that you wouldn't have seen if you weren't looking for it. I followed for about 15 minutes, when the cloaked figure whipped around and stared at me for a few moments.

"Make a wish..." it whispered

Then everything went black.
