Lloyd knew that this was crucial. Everyone was counting on him.

Collete, Genis, Kratos, Professor. Everyone.

Could he do it? Would he mess up just like in Iselia? Lloyd felt nervous all over. Would his special Exphere be strong enough? Sweat began forming on his forehead. Then a battle took place. It was against 4 yellowish ladybugs. Lloyd hated them because they bit and they smelled bad. Nevertheless Lloyd ran full speed with Kratos running behind.
"Double Demon Fang" Lloyd said as two shockwaves formed and completely missed the flying ladybugs. Meanwhile Kratos had already killed one of the ladybugs. Lloyd was annoyed at the ease of which Kratos dispatched the monster."Heavy Tiger Blade" Lloyd yelled as he slashed the bug with two sweeping swings. He thought that was a cool move. It was certainly better than a plain old Tiger Blade. He named it Heavy Tiger Blade. Genis wanted him to name it Super Tiger Blade. Speaking of Genis he noticed him starting to cast a spell. Cool! Lloyd thought Genis' spells looked cool. He always wondered though why he wasn't hurt when he was standing in the middle of his Eruption spell. Oh no! While he was sitting there pondering magic, Raine got hurt by the infernal ladybug! Kratos immediately started casting a spell.

"Take this! First Aid!" Raine was healed instantly. Lloyd wondered why Kratos said "Take this!" So menacingly. Maybe he was trying to scare the monsters. Right then Genis said a phrase that was dear to Lloyd's ears.

"Pancake Time! Stalagmite!" A large piece of rock shot out of the ground and killed two ladybugs. Another Heavy Tiger Blade and the battle was over. But the battle inside Lloyd's heart had just begun. His hand trembled as he reached in the plastic bag and pulled out two objects. The parties eyes were aglow with anticipation.

"You can do it Lloyd! If any one can do this it's you!" Collete cried out

"You're my best friend Lloyd! If anyone can do this it's you!" Genis said

Filled with encouragement he sung his hand together. And for a while the earth stood still. When he opened his eyes he realized in horror that he had done it again. The two pieces of bread lay in a muddle mess on the ground. Lloyd picked up the bread and clenched his fist!

"Nooooooo!"

Yes Lloyd Irving had once again failed to make a sandwich. How could he live with himself. How could the gamer forgive him after failing to make a sandwich 5 times in a row when the only ingredient was bread. He looked at their faces. Collete was crying softly. Genis shook his head. Raine had disappointment written all over her. Presea stared at him coldly, Regal seemed sympathetic, Sheena's jaw dropped, and Kratos wouldn't even look at him. Lloyds hand release the shattered mass of the bread as well as his dream. To make things worse it seems that Noishe had eaten all the rest of the bread.

"I….I'm sorry" Lloyd said finally.

"Yeah well sorry won't cut it this time!" Genis said

"Well Raine isn't a good cook either."

"Well at least she can make a freain' sandwich!"

"Shut up Genis!"

"No you shut up Lloyd! How can you unite the world when you can't even unite two pieces of bread!" Sheena's face was red.

"I knew you had neglected your studies but…this…" Raine looked down.

"Lloyd I'm sorry….I need some time to think." Collete said sadly.

Just then a Desian ran up and shouted, "INFERIOR BEING."

The party all left Lloyd except Regal.

"Regal…your still here. You are overcome by guilt for what you have done…just like me right?"

"Yes my sins weigh heavily on me. I vowed never to use my hands to kill again….that is until now….HADOKEN!"

There was a bright flash of light.

Lloyd woke up and looked around. He was in the Meltokio inn. What the heck was that! Lloyd wondered. What a screwed up dream. Who can't make a sandwich! You should see my rating for meat stew. It's awesome.
