Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from an Oz airport,
aboard a flying ship.
Does J.J. have a story plan,
of this we're quite unsure.
The passengers flew off that day,
for a 13 hour tour, a 13 hour tour...
The flight it started getting rough,
and cookies would be tossed.
But thanks to the courage of the writing crew,
each Wednesday we'll get LOST, each Wednesday we'll get LOST.
The jet crashed down on the shore of this uncharted desert isle,
with Criminals, a dead Flight Crew,
the Korean Man, and his Wife,
the ex Rock Star, the Surgeon and Preacher Man,
here on Abrams' Isle.

So this is the tale of our castaways,
we hope for a long, long time.
They'll have to flee from hairy things,
up trees they will climb.
The Lifeguard and his sister too,
like Jerry Springer guests,
will make the others uncomfortable,
in this tropic island mess.
No phones, no lights, no chocolate bars,
no snacks for poor Hurley.
Like Robinson Crusoe,
being chased by killer bees.
